FIFA 18 is an unexpected step backwards from its predecessor. The Journey and most of the other modes got some unimaginative updates and the perfomance on the field is filled with inconsistencies in terms of player AI and the balance between attackers and defense that you wouldn't expect after FIFA 17. Fans of ultimate team and FIFA Veterans will still get some fun out of the countless game modes the game has to offer.

Cuphead is the next must-have title for the Xbox One. The Animation and Soundtrack are unique and even with couch co-coop the gameplay mechanics and balancing works solid through the whole game. The side activities of the game are pretty repetitive and also the upgrade system could use a little do-over but besides that every Gamer should have this game in his/her library.

Forza Motorsport 7 is the most beautiful and accessible racing game on the market. The new weather conditions bring some fresh improvements in terms of variety and driving experience and the Forza's Drivers Cup is the most satisfying single player experience the series had in years. The only shortcomings are a small lack of realism and the unnecessary integration of Loot Crates/Microtransactions.

If you're looking for a solid Basketball experience, you'll get it. The Gameplay feels great and is easy to learn. Despite some questionable Microtransactions and the open question if the ps3 and xbox 360 Version of the game still holds the full potential of the PS4 Version back you'll still enjoy every part this game has to offer.

Despite some creditable gameplay changes Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite doesn't really offer something that stands out from their competitors. Hardcore Fans will still find some of their fan favorites in the upcoming DLCs but in it's current form we can't recommend this game.

Project Cars 2 is by far the most realistic racing simulator on the market but it still doesn't make itself accessible for newcomers and casual players. It also fights with a terrible enemy AI and some questionable choices in the career mode. Besides that Racing Game Fans will get a solid sequel to the already convincing Project Cars.

Despite the bitter taste of microtransactions and some recycled procedures Destiny 2 is a solid expansion on the first title. The story is visually stunning and the new RPG and Upgrade-elements finally complete the broke Loot-System and offer more motivation to explore the planets and world of the game.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 returns to old strength with a solid portion of realism and a phenomenal visual presentation. The AI could be a bit better on the defense and also the tactical menu in-game feels kinda outdated but besides that fans of soccer simulations will get the series again at their best.

Monster Hunter Stories is a delightful spin-off package with its on charme that will pull in Pokémon Fans as newcomers alike. The Gameplay mechanics are surprisingly diversified and the amount of Monster Hunter goodness will make some points good with Monster Hunter Veterans despite its lack of challenge and the mediocre sound design.

Knack 2 learns nothing from the mistakes of the first game and offers little to nothing besides some online/couch-coop what plattformer-fans or newcomers could actually enjoy. Because of the monotonous leveldesign and unimaginative story, players just get some enjoyment out of the fact, that you can play the game with some friends.

Last Day of June offers a real beautiful story accompanied with an amazing soundtrack and some Tim Burton-like animation style. Sadly the game don't deliver on the gameplay side and offers till near the end of the game nothing but a painstaking experience. If you look for an emotional adventure you still will find some enjoyment in the game.

Windjammers falls into the category "Easy to learn, hard to master", which makes it interesting for newcomers and veterans. Besides cross-buy and some features like 16:9 and CRT filters the gameplay mechanics will make you come back to the game again and again.

Before the Storm – Episode 1: Awake is off to a bumby start but it defintely leaves some potential open for the upcoming episodes. The new Backtalk-Feature doesn't really make any impact on the story so far and also the course of the episode feels to forced but besides that Life is Strange Fans will see some familiar faces and funny side activities.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is definitely offers the best from both worlds with a touch of XCOM. Tactical veterans will miss some challenge in most of the game but besides that the game is probably the best entry into the world of tactical RPGs. Also Super Mario and Ubisoft Fans will enjoy the amount of easter eggs and secrets hidden in the game.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is just as good as Uncharted 4 maybe even better besides the smaller playtime of 6-8 hours. It even manages to kill nearly all the shortcomings of the main game. Some of the fight Scenes are not as well made as in Uncharted 4 and the constant Selfie-Action of Chloe feels misplaced but if you look past that you'll get a full Uncharted Experience that leaves little to be desired.

Despite some new gameplay approaches Matterfall still don't manage to merge from the shadows of the previous housemarque titles. The diverting title surprises you not very often and the hardest part of the game is gettting used to the new control elements of the game. If you're looking for a new twin-stick-shooter to pass some time you'll still enjoy Matterfall.

Hellblade lacks substance but with a starting price of 29,99€ you can live with some dull gameplay elements. Ninja Theory really made a bold move with the game that has paid off. If you expect a well thought out gameplay of a Triple A Hack and Slay game you should give it a pass. Anyone else will get a breathtaking story that tackles a difficult topic with an amazing atmosphere and a great protagonist.

Splatoon 2 presents itself as a classic sequel and misses the opportunity to add some changes to the gameplay and multiplayer that make an impact. The game is still a must-have for shooter fans on the Nintendo Switch, even when there's not enough new content for Splatoon Veterans.
