Areajugones's Reviews

May 13, 2019

A Plague Tale: Innocence is a well crafted, classic adventure that offers a solid story with charismatic characters. However, it all goes wrong during the final chapters, when the game loses its head, the story becomes violent nonsense and the gameplay turns out to be highly frustrating.

7 / 10.0 - Weedcraft Inc
May 12, 2019

Weedcraft Inc is a good management sim, but fails to deliver a message, for or against, about marijuana and its social and economical consequences. A lost chance that could have been way more than just a good game.

8.5 / 10.0 - Descenders
May 11, 2019

Descenders is a fun and challenging mix between arcade and roguelike genders with freeride as the perfect excuse. High speed, risky tricks and an infinite amount of procedural tracks are the pillars of one of the best surprises of 2019 so far.

7.5 / 10.0 - Days Gone
Apr 25, 2019

Sadly, Days Gone ends up as a failure regarding the attempt of creating one of the best survival games in the market. Despite of the fact that it is a fun game, it has far too many errors to be considered a must-have title. The story is inconsistent, the missions tend to become repetitive and there are a lot of problems regarding stability as well as bugs that, all in all, make this one of the weakest exclusive game to be found on the PlayStation 4.

8.5 / 10.0 - Anno 1800
Apr 18, 2019

Anno 1800 is the best entry in the series to the date. A game that can be huge and complex while not overwhelming to the player. A true love letter to the genre that every fan of city-builders and strategy games should play.

9 / 10.0 - Cuphead
Apr 18, 2019

‎We will not deny that its graphic section does a lot for ‎‎Cuphead ‎‎to enter us by the eye; an artistic style worthy of an Oscar for best animation production. Still, ‎‎let's not stray from the important thing: yes, we're caught by its graphic style, but still with everything, Cuphead is one of the best video games ever.‎

8 / 10.0 - Tropico 6
Mar 28, 2019

Tropico 6 is a safe bet. A sequel that has almost no innovations but manages to feel fresh and funny from the start. El Presidente is back, as good as he has ever been.

A game absolutely essential for anyone who has enjoyed minimally the previous works of FromSoftware, but also for those who want to take the step with the study and have not dared; a masterpiece in every rule. Thanks, FromSoftware; Thanks, Miyazaki.

Unruly Heroes is a surprise, one that we had not seen coming and that makes the game one of those titles that, without getting too noisy, could perfectly sneak into the lists of many favorites at the end of the year.

7.5 / 10.0 - Far Cry: New Dawn
Feb 14, 2019

A very conservative bet that repeats without fear of imitation, an argument that lacks quality at all levels, a county that has changed almost nothing, a technological component that has left to be desired

Feb 12, 2019

Conarium offers a game with a extremely simple gameplay that relies completely on its narrative aspect. In spite of some flaws, this reimagination of a lovecraftian world is visually stunning and able to catch the players' attention from the very beginning and retain it through the whole game.

God Eater 3 stands as the first pure experience of the God Eater franchise away from the handheld consoles. In the end, it turns out that Shift did a really good job with a game that cherishes its characters as well as its possibilities in the battlefield.

Bleep Bloop is a simple game for puzzle lovers that really shines when played through the local multiplayer option. Nevertheless, the game is far from challenging, and it really would have benefited from trying to mix up some of its mechanics.
