A very promising indie with a gameplay in which freedom, and relaxation will prevail. Encounters with very curious characters, IAs with very questionable decisions and plots of corruption and allegory of the human condition and technological escalation. An interesting game to get lost in.

The care of XCOM: Chimera Squad is total despite being a much less ambitious work than XCOM 2 and the only thing that tarnishes its good intentions are a few errors and crashes that can easily be solved in the first days of the title's life.

Trias of Mana is a good example of how to make a current remake for a title that in the 16-bit era was considered a masterpiece. It's classic when you need it and reinvents only where it's needed. It has errors, but also successes that make it one of the most direct, colorful and friendly JRPGs of this generation. It offers the virtues of the original and also many others inherited from games like Dragon Quest XI.

The only reason we might not consider Final Fantasy VII Remake a masterpiece is because the play is not over. But it is a work of art. A love letter to the original, written directly on your DualShock 4. Square Enix dresses in Squaresoft, fulfills all its promises and recovers the magic. In short, the remake is just what we expected: a dream come true.

HyperParasite is an extremely difficult shooter / brawler but with a very good atmosphere. It may despair you because of dying again and again, but its battles are always fun thanks to the many characters you can control.

The Lovecraftian narrative and setting of Moons of Madness have tremendous potential that, unfortunately, is not accompanied by gameplay to match.

Resident Evil 3 Remake does a great job of reclaiming the potential the original already had, one of the franchise's most underrated installments. Some extra modes or replayability variety would have been welcome.

One piece Pirate Warriors 4 is a game for fans of Eiichirō Oda's work. Controlling giant characters and performing special movements is fun, but its proposal is too repetitive and its different game modes don't provide much variety.

Granblue Fantasy: Versus is a good fighting game that manages to add its great visual aspect to some very satisfying playable mechanics, which are developed in a very organic way to introduce its new players to the genre. However, its character roster is too short despite the quality it treasures and its story mode is little more than an excuse to introduce each of these protagonists. With all this, this video game can be a very valid gateway for those who want to get into fighting games or the Granblue Fantasy saga.

It is a game that comes very late to the genre that it tries to assault, but at the same time it gives it a certain originality by creating a work in which the combat mechanics are based on hack and slash and not on the simple skills of a regular hero shooter (although there are also and they are key, of course).

Exit the Gungeon rescues the thug style of its predecessor but its main mechanics can cause a high degree of frustration in the player due to different design decisions. However, we spend a very entertaining time in a world that will be more than familiar to the fans of Enter the Gungeon, drawn with magnificent detail and care.

Weapons, love and tentacles expands the madness of Borderlands 3 to horror literature with great success, making this participant in its chaos, its shootings and its macabre characters.

Half-Life: Alyx is the new bar for Virtual Reality. Valve has made a game so realistic, immersive and detailed that we can consider it a main iteration of Half-Life. Only its story, something fair in what it contributes to the saga make it not have a perfect score.

Despite not being very convinced by its triple system of obtaining combat resources, Doom Eternal is as frantic as you might expect. A long campaign with inspired arenas... not accompanied by an interesting story despite the narrative efforts.

A video game that manages to do everything bordering on perfection, but that does not contribute anything too different from its previous version to justify all the work involved in finishing it if you have already played the previous one.

Animal Crossing debuts on Nintendo Switch with New Horizons, a game that draws heavily from users of previous titles feedback, but with too slow a progression in comparison.

MLB The Show 20 is yet another success for Sony San Diego. The perfection of its mechanics, the design of the stadiums and players, and the number of modes it offers players make it, without a doubt, this year's baseball title par excellence.

Nioh 2 is one of the best titles of the Souls-Like genre released to date. Its combat system introduces very interesting novelties and its narrative perfectly blends the Yokai legend with the history of Japan from the Sengoku period.

Moon Studios artists have done it again. Ori and the Will of the Wisps is a simply perfect work of art in audiovisual terms whose gameplay still shines in a well-designed and balanced silverform. Boss inclusions are appreciated, but they won't be very memorable.
