Fe is an original platformer that fans of animals will surely love, thanks to the way it connects with nature through the language of the forest. Although it doesn't manage to send a message as powerful as it's visuals in regards to gameplay, it's worth your time just for purely artistic values.

Eight years after its original release, Bayonetta has still great controls and combo system, and we love the references to classic Sega games such as Space Harrier or Hang On. Soundtrack is also great, but visuals are a bit outdated and the camera system fails sometimes.

Bayonetta 2 is one of the best "hack´n slash" games you can play in any console. It delivers intense combat, charming characters and non stop fun. On the down side, Switch version is almost identical to the Wii U release.

Owlboy arrives on Nintendo Switch (and PS4 y Xbox One) retaining all its charm and beautiful pixel art that make it an indie hit in 2016. It's a nice adventure that shines in its characters and writing, but if fells short in playing time, collectibles and use of the world. At least, you can now enjoy this little gem anyewhere.

The open world, RPG elements and new battle system make Dynasty Warriors 9 the first refreshing entry in this old series. This is without a doubt the way to go for future games in the Dynasty franchise.

Crossing Souls it's a beautiful pixel art adventure that inspires by and jokes around all the 80s iconography you can imagine, from movies to games. It shines the most through its Pixel Art, its soundtrack and the animated sequences... but at the same time, the gameplay mechanics remains always very simple and has some lows in the central chapters.

Rise and Fall brings some interesting improvements to Civilization VI. The new mechanics do not stray too far from the base game, but they broaden our options, and allow us to create our own stories when playing.

Night in the Woods tells a sad story in many levels. We love the art direction and the soundtrack (specially in minigames and dream levels), but it is not a game for everyone. Gameplay falls short compared to narrative elements.

The game finds the perfect balance between RPG elements, construction games (mainly inspired by Minecraft) and the classic characters from Dragon Quest Series (designed by Dragon Ball author Akira Toriyama). It´s incredibly fun and deep either in story or free mode.

EA Sports UFC 3 is the best MMA simulator we have seen. It is not perfect, but its elaborate combat system transmits all the tension of UFC and its technical section makes it look like we were watching fights on TV.

The ultimate version of one of the most unique JRPGs in recent memory, finally edited in Europe. If language is not a barrier, and you like (or feel attracted to) the genre, then Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology is a must have. A true gem.

Dandara is an artistic pixel art metroidvania with ideas of his own, like an original control scheme and a little Dark Souls touch. The problem is that, as a game designed to be played on smartphones without physic controls, the gameplay mechanics and power ups tend to be a little simple. But if you love the metroidvania genre, you'll enjoy it.

A story about overcoming grief and accepting ourselves under the guise of an impeccable platformer. Celeste is the kind of game that no one, not even those who despise jumping games, should miss.

Dissidia mixes the charm of a series as beloved as Final Fantasy with a battle system that's equal parts fun and different from anything we're used to see in fighting games, but lacks in variety and modes. If you love Final Fantasy, then you'll probably love Dissidia Final Fantasy NT.

One of the most memorables adventures of all time returns with a complete remake that enhances the experience in all the possible ways you can imagine, not only visual: it even adds new content and tons of unlockables that will make fans and newcomers even happier. Nightmare Boy pays homage to classic 16 bit platform games. It´s colorful, well animated and fun to play, although you can finish the game in less than four hours.

World is the perfect evolution of the Monster Hunter saga. Creature and level design is great, coop mode is incredibly fun and it´s weapon system is deep. We enjoyed every second of this gameplay that finds the perfect balance of following trails, collecting resources, studying beasts and killing them.

Lost Sphear is a little step forward for Tokyo RPG Factory, solving all the bad things from I Am Setsuna and keeping the good ones exactly as they were. If you love JRPGs and miss those times where everything was simpler, don't miss it.
