Gears 5 is the natural evolution of the Gears series: a more daring game, in every possible way. The Campaign took us by surprise, not only with its narration, but also with its bold design choices. The singleplayer experience prepares the player for a second round, with the gargantuan multiplayer section, where we find the glorious old modes and an Escape mode that punished and seduced us.

Oninaki could have been Tokyo RPG Factory's best work to date, but ends up to be "just" a solid hack'n'slash rpg with a good combat system due to repetitiveness and a lack of depth.

Final Fantasy VIII Remastered is a nice occasion to revisit Rinoa and Squall's adventure for those who've already played the original, albeit more could have been done to make the game more appealing for modern audiences.

Catherine: Full Body is a laudable remaster. It introduces a new route through a well orchestrated twist, but if you don't want to take it you will find again the same psychological attention and character development. The game is a sincere work about the man and its bonds and will to overcome adversities. You should give it a chance if you don't have played on previous generation, but this time even the original players may find a reason to come back to block-climbing.

The first game of The Dark Pictures Anthology is a step backward for the genre. The game needs a re-work especially in the structure of QTE and choices, but at this price and with multiplayer modes the overall value is good.

We're going to the final episode. In this fourth one there are no surprises, but a lot of attention on dialogues and characters.

Little improvements, and finally a good track editor enters the series, but there's not true innovation from the previous MXGP.

action makes it different from its genre but it also confines it within it, specially about interactivity and design. However, despite its low duration and hybrid nature, it's evident the passion in every level (writing, background, actors). A courageous but also riskful experiment.
