The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II is, honestly, one of the best JRPGs ever released for the PS4. The way the game handles a story even more mature than its predecessor and the connection the player has with the characters, which are very well-developed, and the turn-based combat system perfectly tuned make it a true masterpiece.

Zanki Zero: Last Beginning has an interesting premise, although it doesn't reach its full potential. Danganronpa fans will find a fun game and characters with lots of charm.

Ghost Giant is an exciting game that will surely touch the hearts of those who venture into its universe, thanks to its brilliant storyline and excellent gameplay. Its only problem is the absence of the replay factor, that could bring the player for a new round.

RAGE 2 has an amazing battle system, but it gives the player few opportunities to properly use it. The open world and its elements aren't well used and, in the worst cases, prevent the game to show its true potential.

Daedalus The Awakening of Golden Jazz is one of the few japanese investigation games we'll see in this generation. Whether you like it or not, it's part of an interesting niche and I'd recommend this one more to those fans than the public in general.

Team Sonic Racing is a fun kart game. There are different modes, it has interesting team mechanics and its gameplay is enjoyable. However, because of the team system, it can be frustrating in many cases to depend on the CPU if you do not have friends.

Castlevania Anniversary Collection is, without a doubt, an emulator inside the PS4. I consider this a very positive point, since the aesthetics and format are maintained, preserving bugs and abnormalities of the games from that time. It may not be an attractive collection for new buyers because it is restricted. I do not understand why the save is unique to each title and many of them can be played with different characters, codes, and directions in the story. Despite pulling on nostalgia, it could have more features, such as a music player and fun emulation options.

World End Syndrome may fool you or even goes by unnoticed in a year full of new visual novels on consoles, but after giving it a fair shot, it manages to be the best of the year so far.

The combination of the very fun core gameplay, visual spectacle and loot festival makes Lapis x Labyrinth a game that surpasses its shallow script and overall repetition to motivate the player to go where no other adventurer has ever gone.

Table of Tales: The Crooked Crown is a game that works as a good example that there is still a lot of potential to be tapped by the developers on the PlayStation VR. It's a must have for the headset owners, fans of RPG and board games.

Full of good intentions to show a harsh reality, Massira can be touching and lovely, even if the visual style, technical limitations and gameplay may say otherwise. The message that we need to be better human beings is still understood despite all the flaws that the game has.

Nurse Love Syndrome, despite showing its age, still manages to be fun and marks a good addition to the diversity in the visual novels catalog in the West.

A Plague Tale is an interesting new intellectual property. The period of the black death was reimagined with a narrative permeated by mystical elements, while exploring the fraternal relationship between Amicia and Hugo. It is a technically competent game, which conveys a rich and detailed universe, but its potential is barred by a trivial gameplay. Despite the problems, it's recommended and worth playing!

Puyo Puyo Champions is recommended for competitive players, especially because the title is focused on competition and it should completely satisfy that niche of players.

Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark is, surprisingly, one of the best Tactical RPGs released in this decade. Clearly developed and projected with a lot of care and speaking directly to long time fans of the genre and its classics, the touching story, very well-developed characters and fine-tuned gameplay make it a fantastic game and an easy recommendation.

World War Z has a lot of technical issues than could be solved with some updates. But if you have a group of friends to play with, the game can be very enjoyable.

Fun and challenging, though a bit short, with simple graphics and weird interface, Attack of the Earthlings is a good strategy game and brings a very unique and intriguing variation to the genre with considerable success.

Eternity: The Last Unicorn is a very simple game. Its story attracts only the ones who are interested in the Norse Mythology. The gameplay mechanics present some critical problems and its presentation can not be considered part of the eighth generation games.

Iron Rain makes some changes to core features of the series, bringing a new and somewhat familiar experience. It's a great shooter game due to its absurdity, combat possibilities and, especially, for its cooperative modes with friends.

VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action, a great addition to the visual novel library on the PlayStation Vita back then, is now a perfect addition to the PlayStation 4 library.
