70 / 100 - Mulaka
Feb 25, 2018

Mulaka works very well as a history lesson on rich indigenous culture, but as a game it doesn't perform so well in aspects that could make the title more consistent and more embracing for several players.

When it was released, Street Fighter V featured an interesting gameplay and it was set to receive a lot of content. The first year was solid, while the second year is debatable. However, the third season has already begun in the right way with the launch of the Arcade Edition. The game got even better with the new modes and gameplay options. For those who were afraid to check out the game, it is time to do it. The only problem, for now, is the changes made to get Fight Money.

65 / 100 - The Station
Feb 20, 2018

The Station had everything to be a great game. Interesting story, good presentation and a game style adored by many. The big problem is that it builds too much hype, but falls short at some points. If you are looking for a quick and easy game, this one is for you. If this is not the case, the Espial space station should not be visited.

Secret of Mana's biggest drawback is the changes where it didn't have to, and what needed an update, was preserved. The remake could be more refined and longtime fans probably share the same feeling. It is a Japanese RPG that rescues classic aspects of the genre, but should only contemplate new players without any reference to the original product.

UNIEST is an excellent fighting game due to its universal mechanics and varied characters which allow the player to fully manifest their fighting style. Unfortunatelly, its low popularity limits the number of online players and the game's lifespan. In case you are a fighting genre veteran, UNIEST might become an unexpected favorite. Beginners should also be interested because of the game's excellent tutorial mode, which will be useful for any fighting game.

The second book of The Pillars of the Earth brings a fast pace to the story and shows that, not only the construction of the cathedral is growing, but so are the dangers lurking around the characters. Decisions made by the player may change some story plots when compared to the original book, even taking unexpected directions. The game itself also changes important parts of the story, with absences and superficial treatment to some themes that may not please fans of the book.

55 / 100 - Vesta
Feb 14, 2018

Despite having an immense potential, Vesta ends up disappointing in important aspects within its level design and gameplay, which ends up making the experience quite frustrating and punitive. However, the game still offers good entertainment and challenge for fans of the puzzle genre who care to give it a try.

With a twist on the amnesiac protagonist trope, The Longest Five Minutes brings an unprecedented premise, but it doesn't save the game from blending into the crowd.

Dynasty Warriors 9 is a game that, despite some problems in this first attempt in the series to make an open world game, establishes a great way to retell its story, reinventing very well the combat system and bringing the series closer to an RPG, thus marking a great step forward for the franchise.

70 / 100 - Bleed 2
Feb 11, 2018

BLEED 2 is basically the same as the first game. While I played BLEED 2, I always had the feeling of playing the previous one. A lot of things in the game are the same as in BLEED, more than necessary. Enemies, bosses, guns and stages are very much alike or the same as the original game. BLEED 2 missed the opportunity to be a great follow-up and, maybe because of the fear to create something new, it brings almost nothing new in this second installment.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory is a good turn-based RPG with an interesting story and charismatic characters that should make fans of the series happy, but it doesn't bring anything new to the table, suffers from some of the problems of its predecessor and feels tiresome for those who have played the first game, due to the excess of reused assets.

To say that the original Shadow of the Colossus is one of the most important and fascinating games of all time is to speak what many already know. But what few have yet discovered is how Bluepoint managed, like few studios, to visually rework a classic yet retain the same essence of what made it so important in its time. Even with some flaws from the original game, the experience remains true to the purists and modernized enough to be accessible to new players, with the studio reworking elements of the original in the right measure. The remake brings a work of art to a new audience on PS4, showing the melancholy and epic quest of Wander in a land of colossus to save his beloved. An unforgettable and unparalleled journey for new and old players.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is a game with positive and negative points. It has a confusing gameplay in the beginning (even with its tutorial), but with dedication it becomes addictive. On the other hand, because of the three-character mechanics and if you do not have friends to play with you, it can end up being frustrating. Offline mode lacks content as well: there is an Arcade mode with a few variations and a story mode that is only advanced by playing the other modes. Finally, online mode may present lag in certain matches. In the end, like I said before, the game is very addictive: you'll want to keep playing, even if you win or lose.

75 / 100 - The Inpatient
Feb 3, 2018

The Inpatient is a first-person horror game for PlayStation VR that takes place decades before the events of Until Dawn. Although the story takes place during an important time in which the origins of the enemy from the original game are explained, The Inpatient touches superficially on those events, focusing more on a psychological terror and in its own narrative - you are a patient in Blackwood Sanatorium, suffering from amnesia and blackouts, trying to understand how and why you are there. While the game has great graphics and good moments of horror and tension, sometimes it gets tedious and is relatively short, not justifying the high launch price.

85 / 100 - Wulverblade
Jan 31, 2018

Wulverblade is a simple game that brings well-known gameplay mechanics loved by many players, especilally those who love the 16-bit generation. The story of the campaign mode, despite being different, ends up giving the players an interesting historical overview.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is an excellent fighting game. It has beautiful graphics that are very faithful to the anime. The gameplay, although simple at first glance, has a depth that can be explored by the most dedicated players. The online mode does not disappoint either, except for the difficulty of playing it with friends. The story mode, despite having a slow start and being unnecessarily too long, is worth checking out. In the end, Dragon Ball FighterZ deserves to be played.

90 / 100 - Lost Sphear
Jan 26, 2018

Lost Sphear is a gift to the 90's RPG lovers. Simple graphics, well-known gameplay mechanics, but with some novelties at the same time, a story that makes the player eager to find out what is going to happen next and characters with really distinct characteristics make Lost Sphear a game to be played in 2018.

Spying on your neighbors has never been so fun and enjoyable. Even though the game gets empty and monotonous at its end, taking complicated decisions and suffering with its consequences turn Beholder Complete Edition into great fun.
