WRC 8 is fun, it's challenging, and it's frustrating, and with that license in tow, it's a great play for rally fans the world over.
This is the game I love, on a console I love, and every happy day I've spent playing Final Fantasy VIII comes back to visit me when I play the Remaster.
Unless you simply don't like roguelike games, you should absolutely pick yourself up Children of Morta and experience it for yourself. You won't regret a second of your time with it.
Considering the fact that the game only costs $20, it represents astonishing value because it'll take you dozens of hours to complete and features a lot of replayability. Just don't expect the best story.
The problems that I brought up prevent Blair Witch from being truly excellent, but Bullet's glitchy moments and the performance issues are things that the developer can hopefully improve with an update, making a great game even better. Even as it is, though, I still highly recommend Blair Witch if you're a fan of horror titles.
Though it has an excellent foundation, Control never truly achieves greatness. It's a solid game, but not a title that will wow most players.
I don't think I've ever played a game like this before where I've actively communicated about strategies because everything is so diverse from player to player.
Unless you aren't a fan of Metro's original gameplay formula, you should absolutely pick yourself up this DLC.
Age of Wonders: Planetfall's strategy aspect is lacking. Despite that, the incredible tactical combat gameplay makes up for it, making the full experience enjoyable overall.
Ultimately, Wolfenstein: Youngblood feels more like the product of a shareholder meeting, where non-gamers pushed this idea of turning Wolfenstein into a quasi service-type loot shooter, only without loot.
One of the best run 'n' gun shooters out there.
Mutant Year Zero's Seed of Evil DLC is an awesome expansion to the game that offers a ton of new content to enjoy.
Sea of Solitude is a tremendously moving and well-thought out narrative adventure that nails story and art direction and offers solid gameplay, but could have better voice acting and a longer overall length.
They Are Billions is a wonderful game – on PC. This direct Xbox port is not only missing crucial features from its PC counterpart, like the campaign mode, but has horrendous controls that practically beg you to use a mouse and keyboard instead.
One of the most fun things you'll play all year. If you needed an excuse to get back into Forza Horizon 4, this is it.
Ultimately, I would say that American Fugitive is worth a buy if you're willing to look past its issues and just enjoy the ride. If you're looking for a title that will knock your socks off, though, this isn't the game for you.
Warhammer: Chaosbane is a good game, but it would've been better had it featured expansive environments.
Team Sonic Racing offers a satisfactory experience. If you love Mario Kart 8 and want something on Xbox One, the game should satisfy you in the interim. However, you might want to wait for another, better game like Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled.
Layers of Fear 2 has excellent atmosphere and cleverly done scares, but its story falls apart towards the end, the puzzle gameplay is average overall, and the imagery often doesn't tie into the narrative's themes.
Darkwood is a tense and challenging horror and survival game with superb atmosphere, excellent visual presentation, and a strong gameplay core, but it's marred by clunky movement and unintuitive combat mechanics.
