Bloodlines 2 has a massive potential and less problems at launch when compared to the first game. The characters, the world, the story are very good, and Paradox is a company know for embracing mods – who knows what the future will bring? I had a blast, despite some gameplay issues and absence of RPG mechanics, and fans of the universe should be more than happy.

The debut of a brand new Ninja Gaiden game after more than a decade has created great expectations in me, even more so, because this time it was a Platinum Games production. But such a long break could have created an image that is simply unrealistic. The finished product has a great combat system, but making Ryu a guest in his own game is a big problem.

Keeper is a perfect game for a chilly autumn. It’s short, condensed, original, weird, colorful, and strangely relaxing. This is a game that is build 100% on vibes. If you like these kinds of adventures, give it a chance.

Battlefield 6 is simply a truly excellent entry in the series. Not as good as Battlefield 4, but definitely the best in years. It already makes me want to play match after match and unlock every available weapon and add-on.

Little Nightmares III isn't a bad game, despite its many flaws. It's an average, craftsmanlike effort that offers a few hours of enjoyable fun. The problem is that this series has accustomed us to more than just lackluster accuracy. The first and second installments were treasure troves of bold ideas that stayed with us for a long time. I'll forget about this little nightmare very quickly.

Because in these races, it doesn't matter what color medal you receive at the finish line. What matters is that you ran, that you finished, and that you want to run again. And then ten, twenty... and back again.

Hollow Knight: Silksong turned out to be a game only slightly weaker than the original. Still, it's a metroidvania on par with the genre's most beloved classics and a worthy sequel.

After nearly 60 hours with Ghost of Yotei I can confidently say that this game elevates Tsushima into a new level, and introduces lots of well made innovations. It is a game with its own identity, a beautiful world, great exploration, and a cool story with a satisfying finale.

Silent Hill f has the quality and courage to finally break the curse cast upon the series. Moving away from the American town has brought a freshness and depth to the story that I haven't seen in the series since SH2, and changes to the combat system are working well. Silent Hill has finally found its way and emerged from the fog reborn. Disgusting, poignant, digging deep into the psyche. Wonderful.

The decision to transform Dying Light 2’s second DLC into a full game was a right one. Dying Light: The Beast is a big, new adventure that blends well all the best parts of DL, DL2 and The Following. This is a game for all the fans of the franchise, and one that has a surprisingly cool story to tell.

Gears of War Reloaded is a well made remaster, but I was hoping for a whole trilogy. Still, it does not matter as much, I had lots of fun. After all, this is the original Gears of War with all the good and bad that comes with it. And if you own a PS5, you simply have to play.

MGS3: Snake Eater is one of the best games I have ever had the pleasure of playing. The remake, although it could have been done better, will also allow you to taste some of its genius. This release is beautiful in some parts, but it suffers most from the inconsistency resulting from the fact that, despite its beautiful presentation, it is inherently rooted in the PS2 era and runs poorly on UE5.

Mafia: The Old Country is not trying to be a GTA clone, but instead sets a smaller scale and focuses fully on what is most important to the series. An atmospheric, dark and tight story set in a memorable location, together with solid gameplay mechanics and fluid performance, is exactly what the series needed to get back on track.

Tiny Bookshop is a warm story about growth driven by community. For a moment, we are actually able to believe in the existence of an alternative reality, in which quality and expertise are the path not to success, but to a peaceful life. In which a tiny boat-shaped bookshop drifts peacefully across the ocean of profitability, undisturbed by Amazon's container ships.

I don't think it's worth starting Tales of the Shire for the plot, or to tick off another item from the Lord of the Rings universe, but it's worth experiencing for its well-constructed atmosphere. It's a great cozy game that makes good use of its source material.

If a high difficulty level was blocking you from trying various soulslikes, Wuchang can act as a gateway game to this genre. It will teach you the basics without punishing too hard, but most likely will quickly fade from your memory. A few interesting ideas are not enough to outweigh the fact that Wuchang simply lacks personality.

Playing THPS 3+4 is pure fun, like playing a Mario game. I never once felt tired, didn't want to quit the game, and wasn't irritated by any of the developers' strange decisions. Importantly, I didn't encounter a single bug or glitch throughout the entire experience.

The Wandering Village is a lovely game with an interesting mechanic of travelling on the back of a giant creature. While its visual style severely restricts the freedom of building, it adds to the mood very well and sets the game apart from “ordinary” builders. The developers had a vision and didn't shy away from realizing it. It's a shame that the campaign is a huge disappointment for me.

Despite some of its flaws, Donkey Kong: Bananza perfectly fills a niche hungry for a colourful, joyful adventure, which provides a lot of unrestrained fun. The game draws extensively on the ideas from Super Mario Odyssey, with the addition of great mechanics of dynamic destruction. I have my fingers crossed that further games designed for Switch 2 will prove equally successful.

If you’re still asking yourself: should I play Eriksholm, hear me out – it is definitely worth it. Even if stealth games are not your cup of tea, the cut-scenes alone (all the way to a very satisfying finale) are worth the price of admission. And we will definitely hear more about the talented crew at River End Games.
