6 / 10.0 - Saints Row
Aug 22, 2022

The new Saints Row is exactly what we expect to get from a title in this franchise, the crazy action, the juvenile humor and the abundance of everything purple! Problem is that all of this feels a little stale by today’s standards and considering how out there the two recent games before this were, it all also feels a little dialed back too, which may be disappointing for some of the older fans of the series that wanted to new game to get even more crazy.

6 / 10.0 - Eternal Threads
May 28, 2022

There is a great potential here but the execution is quite lacking and not only in the the audio-visual presentation that is years behind but also the core gameplay which feels like it was sacrificed for the sake of narrative goals.

Although it had the longest development time compared to other Empire spin-offs, Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires somehow feels like the one with lowest effort put in to be made. Its biggest problem is that on the strategic side there are now a bunch of titles that give a deeper experience to people looking for a Three Kingdoms era video game and sadly the action parts design is quite repetitive. The asking price also doesn’t seem fair considering what the final product actually offers.

Did you ever wanted to play something that could be described as “Diablo but Anime”? Then RemiLore is just the thing for you. Unfortunately aside from some beautiful use of color and fun voice acting, the gameplay falls flat and gets repetitive really fast.

6 / 10.0 - Comanche
Aug 28, 2021

Comanche feels like a game that doesn’t want you to play it or at least not enjoy yourself while playing it. The controls are so clunky that you can’t just explain it by saying “it’s a simulation” and the missions just aren’t that varied or interesting.

There are definitely people who will sympathize with this story but I personally find it boring and the lack of voice acting made it really hard to get through all the unnecessarily long dialogues. Personal stories are always welcomed but they should have something new to say to actually connect with the audience

The audio and visual presentations are among the best in any remake we’ve seen in all these years and the option to instantly switch to old version is a great bonus but gameplay-wise, the developers have stuck too close to the original design which has resulted in a very frustrating game, even by platforming genre’s usual “annoyance first, fun later” philosophy.

6 / 10.0 - Of Bird and Cage
May 20, 2021

Making a video game to be the vessel of a music album is a nice new idea in an industry that by each passing day is becoming saturated by same-y products. The problem is that it all ends up being a tired interactive movie with morally questionable parts in its narrative.

It seems that Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood had some very nice ideas under its hood but they just haven't come together as good as they should in the final product. Although the combat has its moments and the world building is quite intriguing, at the end of the day it's just a cycle of repetitive and banal moments.

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin is a very mediocre independent game that you probably will not interact with. It also gets boring quickly due to its numerous problems. It would be great for the developers to address these problems and fix the game.

As a mobile game, this could be a fun and different kind of experience but a full blown home console release, it leaves a lot to be desired and its beautiful art style doesn't prevent it from becoming a tiring experience.

Without any doubt, Assetto Corsa Competizione has a long way ahead to reach the quality of the icons of Racing Simulation Genre but in some aspects like car physics and sound design it's phenomenal. Overall it's an unbalanced package with many lows and a few highs.

Abrupt difficulty spikes and the lack of any interesting gameplay elements turn Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair into a mediocre platformer that really doesn't have anything new to offer.

All in all, Untitled Goose Game does not deliver on its potential and ends up being a funny idea that wasn’t executed very well.

6 / 10.0 - Layers of Fear 2
Jun 18, 2019

Overall, this title follows the same convention as the previous entry, however, lack of fundamental changes in gameplay, combined with an unsteady story progression, has damaged the game in many ways. On the other hand, using metaphors taken right out of popular movies and the chance to experience them in a gaming setting can offer good, scary time. If you were a fan of the first game, Layers of Fear 2 will satisfy you, but after finishing its 5 hours long story, it is hard to not think about unmet expectations.

6 / 10.0 - JUMP FORCE

Jump Force is a very mediocre game that almost all of its positive points are in its online mode. Weak story and visuals, almost destroyed this gift of Shonen Jump's anniversary.

6 / 10.0 - Rage 2
May 15, 2019

Rage 2 was one of the most anticipated games of 2019 but unfortunately didn't manage to fulfill our expectations as much as we wanted. Just like other titles from Avalanche and ID Software, combat is enjoyable and satisfying while story is very stereotype and void of any charm. Besides that, it doesn't take long before gameplay becomes boring because of inappropriate structure of objectives and empty world of the game. Maybe if Rage 2 wasn't an open-world game and ID Software developed the game on its own, the results would've been much better. In any case, if you want to keep yourself entertained until the release of other major first-person shooters, you can give Rage 2 a try.

Artifact is a dashing card game that has a big potential to shine. innovative and fresh style of the game that is a mix of card games and strategic genre are the reasons that Artifact is a lot different than other card games out there. however you can sense Valve's greed for money everywhere in the game and this has a direct impact on every player's experience, considering this you can call Artifact the most pay to win card game of all time.

6 / 10 - Black Mirror
Dec 19, 2017

To be honest, if this Black Mirror had belonged to a decade ago, we would have terrorized the game, so much so that its producers forget about creating a game ever again! However, having a noble adventure game like Black Mirror in this deserted field of adventure genre is a reason to be satisfied and delighted. So, we try to support these types of games so that once again, we can witness the rise of golden age of this genre.
