7 / 10.0 - Tank Troopers
Feb 24, 2017

While the blatant lack of online play hinders Tank Troopers from being a true eShop gem, the single player and engaging local multiplayer modes still offer many short bursts for one’s enjoyment.

7 / 10.0 - Elliot Quest
Jul 17, 2017

Despite some occasional slowdown and a cryptic set-up, Elliot Quest is a worthy homage to games like Castlevania II and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. If you missed out on the Wii U version, give this 3DS port a go. Just be prepared for some annoyances, though.

8 / 10.0 - 6180 The Moon
Aug 1, 2017

Despite it being disappointingly short, 6180 the Moon offers a fun and challenging puzzle platforming experience with a unique mechanic that’s right at home with the 3DS.

7.5 / 10.0 - Namco Museum
Aug 14, 2017

While this latest collection of Namco classics may seem pricey at first given the amount of content, it’s the options, presentation, emulation, the inclusion of an HD remaster of Pac-Man Vs., and portability that make it worth Switch owners’ attention.

Lichtspeer: Double Speer Edition can be both a fun and rewarding experience for those wanting a quick challenge. Otherwise, the fun of throwing neon-colored spears at wave of enemy after enemy can wear thin fast alongside its difficulty curve, which is sure to get your blood pressure rising.

A well-crafted re-imagining of a GBA classic with fun new features that most definitely deserves your attention, even if you missed out on in it back in 2003.

6.5 / 10.0 - Binaries
Oct 27, 2017

Binaries doesn’t break new ground in the puzzle platforming genre, yet there’s well enough of a challenge (and fun) in this package for one to waste a few hours with.

9 / 10.0 - Rocket League
Nov 25, 2017

Aside from a few online connectivity hiccups and some small graphical shortcomings, Rocket League is still a fun and joyful experience to behold. It's addictive and chaotic nature alone make it a must-own for Switch owners who want to get their next multiplayer fix.

7 / 10.0 - King Oddball
Dec 6, 2017

While it will take some time to fully master, this physics-based puzzle title has quite a bit to enjoy with its many levels and varying degrees of challenge and extra modes.

Syberia 2 is not as good as the first game in terms of story, and this is a story-driven title. The former played out almost like a detective hunt, but here your final destination is known from the start. However it still has some memorable moments along the way, and there's some, great for its time, visuals and timeless music. Play it and get ready for part 3 to arrive on the Switch soon.

5.5 / 10.0 - Tomeling in Trouble
Dec 14, 2017

Tomeling in Trouble is a very simplistic game that doesn't have much to offer. Unless you're looking for a quick game for the kids I recommend skipping out on this one.

4 / 10.0 - Tallowmere
Dec 14, 2017

For this game to be worth the price of admission, they would have to rework the dungeon generation to prevent situations where you have to take damage just to get to the next room.

In the end, Resident Evil Revelations is a fun play through. Nothing is really added aside from motion controls and the ability to once again play on the go. Players who have previously played the game may want to skip the game. Long time fans of the series or players who have not had the chance to play can certainly enjoy the game.

8 / 10.0 - Just Dance 2018
Dec 15, 2017

I'm not a huge fan of the series in general, but Just Dance 2018 is really a nice package. There is a plethora of songs, there are tons of categories like songs for kids and even songs suited for fitness purposes. If you are looking for a great party game with a lot of value, Just Dance 2018 for Switch is a solid option.  Who knows, maybe you can get the whole family dancing to ‘Sexy and I Know It' for the Holidays :)

Revelations 2 is a great port for the Nintendo Switch. It looks good and  the motion controls work really well. The game wasn't as scary as it could have been and I didn't like the recycling of enemies, but I enjoyed Raid Mode and being able to play with a friend.

8 / 10.0 - Teslagrad

Teslagrad is a unique platforming adventure, with a hero who uses magnetic powers to solve some tricky puzzles. With beautiful graphics set in an eerie, industrial world, this is one game to consider over the holidays.

7 / 10.0 - Human: Fall Flat
Dec 18, 2017

Human: Fall Flat could use some more content to keep players coming back, and sometimes Bob can be more than a little frustrating. But overall I enjoyed the use of motion controls and originality when it came to the levels and gameplay.

My time spent playing Mutant Mudds collection has been overwhelmingly positive. The collection offers a great mix of fun platforming at different levels of difficulty. Having all three games in one collection is certainly a great plus.

I'm not sure what happened, but I can't ignore these bugs. They leave what is otherwise a great game, just good on the Switch. If you missed this on the Wii U, don't miss it again, but maybe wait until it gets a patch.

But how much will the occasional, inconsistent physics dampen your fun factor? If that thought gives you pause, I'd suggest checking out some of 10Tons' other Switch releases first.
