Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions’ secret to success is that it puts the spotlight on its beloved characters and their unique abilities to tell a great sports story. No matter how ridiculous or unbelievable they are, it works as long as it entertains and inspires their audience.
Mortal Shell is bleak, twisted, and poses a challenge from start to finish. It will leave you wanting more, and while some mechanics weren't as fleshed out and diverse as I’d hoped, this game from Cold Symmetry is a commendable adventure that deserves the attention of those who love the subgenre.

Paper Mario: The Origami King was enjoyable, but the verdict’s out as to whether or not it’s a classic on par with the best of the Mario RPG games.

As an earnest, respectful tribute to jidaigeki dramas and the films of Akira Kurosawa, Ghost of Tsushima fares well enough. It creates a fictionalized account of the Mongol Invasion and weaves the tale into the most videogamey of videogame things – an open-world sandbox filled with straw-hat wearing ronin, mischievous foxes, hot springs, and meditative haiku. It’s easily the most ambitious output from Sucker Punch Productions to date.
Because it is rather obtuse at times, I can’t wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone, but if you’re anything like me and you love carefully-constructed, paradoxical art that is enlightening and entertaining, haunting and hopeful, melancholy and magical, perceptive and pointed, you might really fall in love with the existential irreverence of Kentucky Route Zero.
It’s an appealing revenge story that many will love, hate, or at the very least appreciate. This is a game that may challenge your moral compass. I can foresee that this will be talked about by players for weeks, even months, making it a rare experience worth soldiering through.
Legends of Runeterra is a satisfying online card game that has the potential to be among the best titles in its genre, but the success of this game will be based on the new cards added in the future and how they balance the game while maintaining a fun environment for the community.
In the end, when the world of Remake is so painstakingly realized, the combat so immersive, the characters this fully brought to life, I found it difficult to remain steadfast in my apathy towards its source material. Even as the game reaches its heart-stopping conclusion, hinting at not just a greater villain to confront, but a saga on the verge of sweeping you away, Remake feels complete.
Nioh 2 [encourages] you to be creative and personalize your whole gameplay experience. The only hurdle for players new to the franchise is it'ss very steep difficulty and learning curve. But if you can tough it out and get past that, this is a game you may even see yourself revisiting time and again.
2020’s Resident Evil 3 is an action-packed spectacle that looks and feels great, but it can’t cover up the contrived nature of the encounters with Nemesis. The absence of some of the locations and plot beats of the original only shortens a narrative that’s already criminal in its brevity.
the experience was pleasant, but it left me wanting for something better. A great conceptual foundation alone did not translate to a strong enough incentive to keep me playing. For me, this is a pass, but only barely, since I’m comparing it with the newer, better games coming out. I'm hoping that there's a sequel with more polish at some point in the future.
The expansion isn’t the best piece of content but the overall changes that came with the launch of The Division 2: Warlords of New York expansion make it a great addition to keep avid players geared up and ready for the coming content planned for the game in 2020.
Red Kite Studios has done a splendid job mapping out the controls for the PS4 version of Two Point Hospital. I expected to feel my control over the situation limited, but those fears were groundless as the clever control scheme didn’t leave me feeling encumbered or hampered.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order may not be the droid that we're looking for, it's still a fun romp through the cosmos, providing a decent story with some strong moments that will tickle the most sensitive midichlorians inside you.
If you can tolerate your puzzle boxes beautifully rendered and charming rather than merciless, or just want to have a pleasant experience playing alongside a spectator, I suppose you could do worse than Luigi's Mansion 3.

It has only been a few months in, but the current state of Destiny 2 shows that it’s aimed in the right direction. Shadowkeep is a reminder that not everything can go as planned, and that this new journey for the Destiny franchise can still be a bumpy ride.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare brought the complete package, as it hits most if not all the right points, making it an excellent first-person military shooter.
