Overall Starlink: Battle for Atlas is pretty enjoyable experience and gets a thumbs up from me its fun to play through and has some great touches throughout the 20-30 hour storyline, with plenty of content to keep you coming back for more after the story is complete, I’m just not sure how much the toys are really necessary.
Call of the Wild offers an amazing experience, for when you finally do capture your kill: it’s so rewarding. For the players willing to go that extra step, it’s really worth it.
I couldn’t recommend this to anyone but the most hardcore of Nickelodeon fans and if your child asks you for it really consider it before you part with your money.
Treyarch have jumped fully on board the Battle Royale bandwagon, but not content with that, have jumped into the drivers seat and changed up a gear to give the best and most fun version of the genre. If fast and varied action and plenty of firepower is what you want, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is going to be right up your street.
Let’s start with the conclusion shall we? Lego DC Super Villains is the best Lego game of this generation.
Midnight Deluxe is a game that isn`t going to offer you anything in terms of a story and is very much a pick up and play arcade style ID game, but it is a game that I found myself really enjoying throughout.
Rockstar have redefined open world gaming in blistering fashion. If you don’t own this game by now you owe it to yourself as a gamer to experience an absolute classic. My only concern now is how do Rockstar top this.
In short, Call of Cthulhu, despite its shortcomings, builds to a cinematic, haunting and satisfying conclusion which will leave you simultaneously relieved it’s over and gasping for more.
Overall the mini-games are not bad, they just don’t add up to much in the grand scheme of things and there just isn’t a lot of longevity here, unless you are a huge bull riding fan I just couldn’t recommend the game with the lack of content and dated presentation.
For both young and old or new and returning players, there’s hours of Potter themed fun to be found within.
GRIP is a great speed racer with a big nod to favourites of years past, breathing new life into the genre, and its well worth adding it to your game collection.
Mutant Football League: Dynasty Edition is a well above average arcade sports sim, jam packed with gory but cartoony violence, making it a worthy successor to the original game.
I think they have done an awesome job with the trilogy, and to see everything that I remember across the three games, is truly magical, and fantastic.
While we have a weak storyline the overall package is a great collection of sandbox missions with a huge amount of repeatable play sessions that you can keep approaching in different ways, the game looks great and plays just as well as you want from a Hitman game, throw in the extra game modes and all of the additional content that IO keep adding to game and this is great value, just don’t let the weak story put you off.
Farming Simulator 19 is a tough, detailed and rewarding experience that does its best to ease the path of the uninitiated and provide a challenge for players returning from previous iterations.
Overall, Fallout 76 has confused. It’s a good game, but it’s riddled with issues.
Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics presents itself as competent with solid gameplay, but is very much lacking in character or depth to keep you playing beyond one playthrough. The framework is there but its crying out for more in the way of variety that could be fixed with some decent DLC content.
Overall for me this is just a little bit too run of the mill for me to recommend it to everyone, if you like a challenge along with a lot of hacking & slashing, you’ll get something out of this, if you are short on patience then I’d say not for you.
In an era when survival horror titles often equip you with an Uzi and a rocket launcher, Bendy and the Ink Machine goes pure old school. You’ll need to keep your wits about you and get creative to survive.
The Long Journey Home is a richly detailed, challenging experience which quickly and efficiently sucked me in. For those willing and able to master the complexities of the game, it will provide a rewarding and memorable adventure with an abundance of replayability and variety.
