9.5 / 10.0 - The Talos Principle
Dec 17, 2014

The Talos Principles manages to be both a great game and a contemplative piece of art, and the world is a richer place for it.

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris varies quite a bit from its more serious sister series, but the bite-sized action with a classic twist is just as enjoyable.

This first episode is a bit dense, particularly for newcomers, but the attention to detail is meticulous and appreciated. Telltale's Game of Thrones manages to capture all the heart-racing moments and sweaty-palmed intensity fans have come to love. This episode sets up a sprawling adventure on the outskirts of the Westeros we know, and need more of immediately.

The improvements make an already fantastic game that much better, and even if you've already run through everything it had to offer, it's worth another go. Grand Theft Auto V can now lay claim to not only being one of the best games of its generation, but also one of the best remakes as well.

8 / 10.0 - WWE 2K15
Nov 21, 2014

The WWE barges its way onto the PS4 with WWE 2K15, which isn't the most perfect wrestling game ever invented, but certainly lays the groundwork for future installments. This game brings the look and feel of being in the arena watching top names do battle right to the home, and wrestling fans will marvel at the level of details in each characters' model. I wasn't sure how WWE was going to hold up during its first year in the current gen world, but 2K15 builds a nice foundation for wrestling fans, visual artists, and game players alike. The champ is now here, and the only way to continue is up.

World of Warcraft's new zones are huge and full of adventure, the story's grand, and the new garrison feature is soul-suckingly addictive, all of which make for a triumphant return to form for this gaming giant.
