One such game that’s attempting its own spin on the formula is Vagante.

The Company Man is an action-platformer that takes boss fights to a more literal standpoint. Instead of fighting terrifying monsters or evil enemies, I fought my way through the corporate ladder. Was this game a refreshing break from the typical escapades of an adventurer? Or was it just another day in the nine to five? Find out in this Rapid Review.

Will injury-ridden defending champions Wales and new Captain Dan Biggar keep their crown with the Six Nations kicking off today? Or will favourites France storm through under the tutelage of Fabien Galthié? I’m excited to see how Scotland fair in their opening against England for the Calcutta Cup. Something about that team could spell magic this year!

Unforeseen Incidents is a narrative-focused point-and-click adventure. Throughout my adventures, I learned about the Yelltown Fever, a viral disease that is rampantly spreading throughout the world. I was especially interested in this title after getting captivated by suspenseful scenes in the trailer. Moreover, I hoped it would shed some commentary on current world affairs. Did my journey meet my expectations? Find out in this Rapid Review.

I’ve had Chicory: A Colorful Tale sitting in my Steam wishlist for quite a while, after seeing it come up on Twitter. What caught my eye was the illustrated animal characters and the focus on painting powers, seeing as I like to illustrate myself. Not wanting to spoil any more of the game, I added it to my wishlist in the hopes of returning to it when I had the money.

You’d be forgiven for associating this Guardians of The Galaxy game with the 2020 hulk-smash hit Marvels Avengers. For many I think there was almost a belief it would play and feel like a DLC or expansion of the former. Despite it being published by the absolute juggernaut Square Enix akin to Avengers. GOTG wasn’t developed by the Gex-famed team over at Crystal Dynamics in California, and instead was helmed by those delightful Canadians at Eidos Montreal.

Circa Infinity is a platformer that feels unique yet so familiar at the same time. Each level involves getting to the centre of a circle filled with enemies. Watching the enemies swirl around me was hypnotic, and it stood out from the other platformers in the genre because it focused so heavily on aesthetics. Did their decision pay off? Obakeidoro is a party game that is based on the traditional Japanese game Keidoro (also like the American game Manhunt). In Keidoro, there are two roles: police and thief. Obakeidoro takes this principle and expands upon it. Instead of thieves and police, I got to play as either monsters or people. It is still a tag game, and I had to evade or chase my enemies based on my assigned role. Did this title have me sitting on the edge of my seat orr was I ready to walk away?
