Sometimes Always Monsters gives you a lot of freedom. I love that freedom. However, it doesn't fit the story at all. Basically, you're an author on a book tour but this setting isn't even used properly. Any kind of guidance through the story is missing which isn't too bad, but there shouldn't be a "fixed" story in the first place. In the end, I was just trying to get all achievements possible. After all those years, I expected more of the game.

Supercross 4 basically is a great game - but it crashes with its AI system. The AI makes the game incredibly hard at times - which would be ok if the difficulty settings weren't that unreliable. If Milestone ever fixes that, there's a good career mode to enjoy.

Necronator: Dead Wrong hasn't evolved as much as I would like it to. Mirabella's deck is much more balanced and useful than the other protagonist's, and at times, the game unfolds its full potential here. There's a lot of things to be frustrated at still and fairness isn't always a thing. Necronator shows typical weaknesses of procedurally generated games and also the technical issues haven't been fixed completely. It's fun again and again, but also the frustration comes back.

Everdream Valley lets you live in a world that you will most probably love. The many minigames didn't really have me like certain activities though and many of the quests are nothing more than "bring and fetch".

Blue Reflection: Second Light is a solid distraction from the real world, but it doesn't really make you want to get back there.

Stray Blade brings in everything to be a great game: I can see a title scoring within the high 80s range here. But it all gets broken with the horrible combat in the game and missing technical polish.

The Good Life is a grotesque experience with a weird story that a chosen audience might like.

Deiland Pocket Planet Edition is a sweet and relaxing game. It doesn't motivate too long though as there's really not that much to do on the pocket planet.

Agatha Christie – Hercule Poirot: The London Case is a solid detective game with easy puzzles. London's atmosphere is missing though and the only thing remarkable about the game's graphics is the horrendous presentation of its characters. The gameplay does it make it a good game for players new to the genre - more experienced players will probably be happy about the easy platinum trophy.

The story really is worth to play Acolyte. If you really like to puzzle over things, Acolyte is for you. But it can also be frustrating as you need so many other resources that are not clearly visible.

I decided to stay in Providence Oaks because it was a relaxing trip. Delivering the mail has been a nice job in this game. A lot of technical issues overshadow the potentially good experience, however. Lake could have needed a lot more time to be really good.

Before We Leave is game that doesn't really let me recognize a goal in it. There isn't really something useful to do after the tutorial. It's a pity that it couldn't catch me more.

With all bugs fixed, West of Dead could be a frustratingly motivating game for fans of the genre and procedurally generated games.

Fairy Fencer F: Refrain Chord feels like a lukewarm successor of Fairy Fencer F instead of a completely new game. There are some fresh elements, but many more were just taken from the first game, like characters, music and environments.

Strayed Lights tells a great story without any words and brings a wonderful world to your screen. Its potential though isn't fully used as sooner or later, it's just your gateway to the next bossfight. The bossfights can become frustrating, especially due to the shaky performance of the game on Xbox Series S.

Trifox is a creative game and an amazing debut for Glowfish Interactive. Playing on Nintendo Switch though I got the impression that choosing another platform for the game might be better. There are lot of technical hiccups - and also the difficulty spikes of the game which are very frustrating.

Ciel Fledge has an interesting concept. It keeps you motivated to play one ingame week after another for quite a few hours. However, it fails to deliver the surprises that you're expecting. What remains is an interesting setting and many good stories but major parts of the gameplay, like the combat, remain dull.

I love the characters of Tales of Berseria - they're fresh and funny although they hardly develop. What I like less: The world that is dull and lifeless, the story that doesn't leave any room for side quests, and the overall technical representation of the game. It just seems to be older than it is. Even the main story loses its goal and seems to be stretched far too much. I love to continue the journey with the characters and to laugh with them - but there's not much more to Tales of Berseria that really convinces me.

Flutter Away is a relaxing and short game. The soundtrack is beautiful and the rainforest well-designed. On Switch, everything is a bit blurred though, my biggest concern about Flutter Away however is that the gameplay mostly resembles checking things on a to-do-list.

Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires has that great gameplay that really kept me motivating. The graphics on PS5 did the opposite, however - that world and the textures seem to have fallen out of time. Fans of the series will surely like the game, newcomers should check it out somewhere first.
