Marvel's Avengers nails plot and characterization, giving us an absolutely lovable Kamala Khan and delivering some stunning and single-player missions. Where the game disappoints is in the many co-op missions, which feel too repetitive and uninteresting, and in a bit too many bugs. The end result is a mixed bag between a great single-player third-person action-adventure and a disappointing GaaS experience.

Minoria offers a pleasant anime design and some spectacular combat animations, but it disappoints as a metroidvania game, with a too simplistic design, unsatisfying progression system and a troublesome difficult balancement.

eFootball PES 2021 Season Update reissues the same, excellent game of last year with updated players and licenses. Seen the budget price, it's recommended to soccer lovers that didn't play the previous game, while it's hard to suggest it to fans who spent tens or thousands of hours on PES 2020.

Mafia: Definitive Edition is a two-sided coin. On one side we find stunning graphics and a great plot that still manages to captivate us after 18 years, while on the other side we find some meaningful shortcomings that could have been avoided re-designing some aspects of the original game. Despite this, it's still a suggested buy both for people who loved the original game and for the ones that never played it.

A fun and captivating arcade variation to the more serious WWE 2K annual series, with entertaining gameplay and a solid fighters roster. It might lack a bit in variety, but it'll surely please wrestling lovers.

Tennis World Tour 2 shows huge improvements over the original game, with satisfying gameplay and game modes. Some features, like the card system, might be debatable and it could have had better graphics, but this is definitely the right (re)start for a series aiming to become the new Top Spin.

Hotshot Racing follows the lead of classic arcade racers like Out Run and Daytona USA, with a colorful and detailed low-poly look and highly enjoyable gameplay. Lots of modes, including 4 player split-screen and online play, make it a very satisfying experience. A game every racing games lover should try, at least via Xbox Game Pass.

FIFA 21 keeps evolving the franchise's formula, with meaningful improvements in the Career mode and in FUT and VOLTA modes multiplayer, and refined gameplay. It needs a presentation and technical refresh, though, which we hope will come with the next-gen edition of the game.

Activision and Toys for Bob successfully manage to deliver a proper and direct sequel to Crash's original trilogy, doing justice to the franchise's classical gameplay formula but also adding more gameplay variety and lots of content. Watch Dogs Legion keeps the series' base mechanics while enhancing the whole formula thanks to the higher gameplay and tactical variety provided by the huge choice of agents available. This has the downside of making every character pretty forgettable though, keeping us from establishing an emotional bond with any of them.

Shantae: Risky's Revenge - Director's Cut brings back an old school and very challenging platformer, improving it with a new hi-res presentation layer. The Falconeer delivers a solid and gratifying aerial combat experience withing an intriguing and mysterious world. While its RPG component feels underdeveloped and characters end up being too anonymous, it's definitely a game to try for lovers of the genre.

With Assassin's Creed Valhalla Ubisoft keeps on improving on the action-RPG formula, streamlining some gameplay mechanics and reviving some others from the series' distant past. The Viking plot feels accurate and fully convincing, with many interesting references to their myths and uses, while the modern-time storyline keeps on feeling too underdeveloped.
