While "Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War" is undoubtedly a Call of Duty with a lot of effort behind it, it’s unable to fully convince, taking two steps behind and just one ahead. However, one thing is for certain: Black Ops wants to come back, and there are reasons to believe in a bright future for the franchise.

Shin Megami Tensei V absolutely does its job well: it brings a great combat system and an equally good explorable world to Nintendo's hybrid console. It does so with a lot of forethought for the player, rewarding them for good use of what they're given at their disposal but without avoiding being punitive if bad mistakes are made.

Call of Duty Vanguard falls fully within the canons of expectation and offer of the series under almost every single point of view, resulting literally as a "another Call of Duty", which will entertain all those who have always found enjoyable and fun experience offered by the various chapters of the saga, but does not try for a moment to strive to offer something more.

Biomutant has some structural problems; the game tries to be much bigger than it can, and it ends up unable to shine in any field. However, the game still gets to a good general level, being able to entertain the player for a considerable number of hours.

Blair Witch merges already seen gameplay mechanics, not that great level design and a bad technical aspect with a good atmosphere and great story, making a pleasant horror experience for every fan of the genre.

Summer in Mara is a good game, with ups and downs. This title is perfect for relaxing by doing easy (but repetitive) tasks and great for players that likes to slowly progress by unlocking content step by step.

The game design and exploration logic tied to Lord of the Fallen's main mechanics work great, thanks to a game map layout that remains elaborate and intelligent throughout. Unfortunately, the lack of variety of enemies and poor management of their placement, coupled with a number of serious technical inaccuracies in the control system severely ruins the gameplay.

Social satire and demented humour are the beating heart of High on Life: the way they are conveyed to the player is of excellent quality. However, beyond that the game doesn’t have much to offer.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are remakes of inconsistent quality, excellent in graphics and game system but lacking in content. Fans particularly fond of the series or the fourth generation will still find a good title that will surely satisfy them in its fidelity to the original titles.

It Takes Two is a great product for those who want to have fun with a friend or, even better, with their partner. Despite its flaws, It Takes Two is a one-of-a-kind game that combines fun and joy with depth and drama of divorce making it a memorable title.

The 8th chapter in the Resident Evil franchise is a missed opportunity. While the game has some amazing environments and a great story, the gameplay goes away from the horror and survival style of the series to embrace more action-oriented features. The game is also a bit too easy and the puzzles aren’t that great.

Twin Mirror is like an airliner that wants to take off but it loses control. The story is simple, there are a lot of cliché and it has non-original gameplay. Nevertheless, characters, atmosphere and graphic make Twin Mirror one of the best Dontnod works.

Respawn's work pays homage to the world of Star Wars with a modest narrative adventure, made up of ups and downs: the respect and love for Star Wars by the developers make this game almost essential for every fan of the saga, while a solid combat system and a overall successful level design will also entertain fans of action adventures.

Nocturne is a timeless classic that retains undeniable value to this day: narratively and tactically deep, challenging, long-lived and immortal, but this remaster limits itself to the bare minimum without adding anything noteworthy.

Lightfall is a controversial expansion for Destiny 2. While it once again shows a highly entertaining gameplay, we are not convinced by the narrative context. The expansion lacks bite, leaving a bitter taste for being "the beginning of the end".

Trek to Yomi is a dramatic journey of revenge and redemption, with a poor narrative aspect and a repetitive and unbalanced combat system. The developer put all their effort in the beautiful aesthetics and sound aspect of the game, resulting in an immersive, yet not totally satisfying, experience.

In every moment of playing Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach it’s clear the willingness of the developers to give the saga’s concept the right creative and imaginative depth; unfortunately, an horrendous technical sector collapses much of the gaming experience, while a lack of clarity on narrative intentions and some flaws at the base of the gameplay contribute to make Security Breach weaker than expected in terms of enjoyability.

Riders Republic is a game that will entertain fans of the genre who are looking for challenges, and will approach those who are a little more hesitant, without pretending to become a gem of the genre. The game is also technically valid, considering the Cross-Gen nature and all the problems that an Open World like this can unfortunately suffer from.

The Garden Between is a nice story on the themes of friendship, that puts its focus on memory and growth. The game features pleasant and original mechanics, but the lack of longevity and some faults in the gameplay component penalize the title greatly.
