Despite the limited changes, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered stands as the definitive way to immerse oneself in its emotional narrative.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown breathes new life into the beloved franchise by delivering a captivating 2D Metroidvania experience.
What Ubisoft Massive has accomplished is nothing short of incredible. While you may come away forgetting the villain’s name or even the reason why you were exploring this world, you’ll never forget what it felt like to fly your Ikran for the first time or step out into the lush world and soak it all in. Frontiers of Pandora is perhaps the best example of a game that exemplifies the saying, “It’s not the destination, but the journey that matters.
Gangs of Sherwood is a disappointing game with a short campaign, repetitive combat, and limited accessibility options
WarioWare: Move It! is a welcome addition to the quirky series, providing moments of laughter and creativity. Its microgame mayhem is a highlight, and the inventive multiplayer modes elevate the overall experience. However, the game faces challenges with a high price point and limited replayability. If you're looking for a party game that thrives on chaos and unpredictability, Move It! might be the right fit, especially if you have friends willing to embrace the hilariously absurd challenges it presents.
Persona 5 Tactica's deep turn-based mechanics and intriguing story are great, but it fails to live up to the very game it is based on.
KarmaZoo brings a whimsical twist to the platforming genre by emphasizing cooperation, friendship, and good karma.
Ultimately, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name provides the iconic Kiryu Kazuma with a fitting conclusion to his story and sets the foundation for the next game.
Cuisineer provides a unique backdrop for a roguelite game, with hours of playtime required to help the family restaurant. While it can be a little tedious at times, the gameplay loop is mostly enjoyable, especially the restaurant elements. Despite its occasional shortcomings, Cuisineer is a promising indie title and one that is worth checking out.
The MW3 campaign gets by on Call of Duty's expertly refined gunplay and little else. Its nonsensical narrative comes across as pitiful and dull, further hindered by the uninspired mission design that never extends beyond "go here and shoot them." Purchasing MW3 for its campaign is a massive waste of money, let alone time.
The Invincible is a phenomenal game that has done an excellent job translating a fantastic book into an even better video game. Its retro-futuristic art style compliments the concepts that it discusses, and there won’t be a moment during your playthrough where you’re not curious about what you’ll discover. I highly recommend The Invincible to anyone who enjoys narrative-driven sci-fi adventures.
My Time at Sandrock is an exceptionally content-rich game with a satisfying gameplay loop, exciting narrative, and a mostly compelling cast of characters. Unfortunately, it is let down by the Nintendo Switch port, which is so fundamentally flawed that it ruins the entire experience.
RoboCop: Rogue City plays and feels like a finely tuned AA game. It is about as close as a game can get to translating the famous cyborg cop to video games, thanks to the mixture of great RPG features, 80's cheesy story tropes, and unique detective mechanics. While there are issues such as visual bugs and slow traversal in some areas, they don't outshine the positives that make the game something that fans of the original films and newcomers should absolutely dive into.
Fading Afternoon is a sprawling masterpiece that has been meticulously and carefully crafted by some of the greatest artists in the indie space.
Detailed visual and audio elements, exceptional accessibility, and the intriguing Wonder Flower concept make Super Mario Bros. Wonder one of the best in the series.
Ghostrunner 2 improves and builds upon its predecessor in almost every single way. Its narrative, gameplay loop, and combat have been significantly fleshed out, and the addition of a roguelike mode and new motorcycle sequences make it a far more replayable and engrossing package overall.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is a triumph in masterful storytelling, exhilarating gameplay and cinematic spectacle. It is a phenomenal experience from start to finish thanks to its rich, deeply emotional narrative, explosive set-pieces, refined combat and immensely rewarding side content.
Endless Dungeon is a wonderful addition to the roguelite family, with every aspect of the game full of detail, unlockables, upgrades, and lore that continue to keep you entranced as you dive into the Endless universe.
Lords of The Fallen is another soul genre entry that offers seamless co-op between players, a unique dual-world mechanic, a gorgeous art style and a gripping story. Unfortunately, the bugs and performance issues and over-reliance on familiar souls tropes bring it down, making it struggle to stand out in the overcrowded soulslike genre.
Paleo Pines is an addictive unique farming life sim that brings dinosaurs back to life in a cutesy manner. You'll befriend a variety of dinosaurs, who have different kinds of skills that help you around your ranch. Along with befriending these dinosaurs, exploring the world that is Paleo Pines is incredibly captivating. With its vibrancy, quirky villagers, quests, and collections of artifacts, you'll constantly have a task to complete.
