The minigames are fun, the obligations are minimal, and the classic Mario Party feelings of frustration and euphoria quickly surface by the end of each game. Super Mario Party Jamboree delivers that and a few extras with the Expert options, although they could have been a bit more extensive.

The most unnecessary remake of this generation. While the graphics have improved, the controls have not improved at all and feel sluggish. Skip this one and enjoy the much cheaper original version.

The bottom line with EA Sports FC 25 is that the game is more of the same that we’ve had from EA Sports in recent years. Age-old bugs and glitches, weird inconsistencies when it comes to gameplay, and the game still has a complete imbalance between defense and offense.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is an outstanding fighter for anyone familiar with the previous entries in the Budokai Tenkaichi games, but for those new to the series, it might be a bit rough getting yourself up to speed before becoming a great fighter like Goku.

While the world and story of Echoes of Wisdom are a lot like what you're used to seeing when playing as Link, Zelda's distinct abilities make for a fairly different experience. Selecting an Echo is clunky at times, but each can be used creatively as a solution to a myriad of clever puzzles. Performance leaves something to be desired, but the princess' first outing as protagonist is a strong one.

Are you ready to rumble? The Karate Kid Street Rumble is a decent beat 'em up game with a coop function up to four players. This is how you are going to be a real karate kid.

While not a soulslike the way FromSoftware makes them, Black Myth Wukong is a great game with gripping boss fights, gorgeous area's and excellent combat, although the tech struggles to keep up occasionally.

Star Wars Outlaws is a delightful adventure with a charismatic new hero. The stealth gameplay is fun, but the missions do get repetitive after a while. Thankfully the game is a looker, with some beautiful planets to explore as a side-adventure.

Nobody Wants to Die is a short, but action-packed adventure, set in a dystopian version of New York. The excellent voice-cast and story succeed in immersing you in this futuristic murder mystery, albeit with a little more handholding than hoped. Still, for fans of the walking simulator genre, there is a lot to love here.

This game could easily be dubbed a Pokémon clone. The gameplay differs greatly from the main series, but easily holds its own. Sporting five very different zones, a compelling story and gameplay that should be immediately recognizable, this game fits all new hunters-to-be. Graphics are adequate and load-times are abundant but pretty quick thanks to the SSD drives and power of modern consoles.

While the story is still its strongest selling point, The game doesn't quite feel at home on the Switch five years after it's original release. With framedrops, technical limitations and game breaking bugs, this is the least polished version available.

While it is not quite on the level of Luigi’s Mansion 3, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD offers a fine visual update to a 3DS classic. Unfortunately, unlike other recent Nintendo remasters, this new version does nothing to alleviate the annoyances of the original game, such as E. Gadd’s all too frequent calls. Ultimately, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD makes for an okay addition to the Switch-library, but it can’t be called essential.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants excels in simplicity, and not everyone can appreciate that. This game comes from Nickelodeon, and that means that here is a Turtles game for kids.

Beware a big bump in difficulty, but Shadow of the Erdtree is a must-play for Elden Ring-fans. It improves on the base game in every way. The new Lands of Shadow are beautiful and a joy to explore, there are a lot of exciting new weapons and spells to find, and the new boss fights are absolutely epic.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door nails what a faithful remake should be. Some small improvements make the gameplay even better in this sharply written story that's charming until the very end.

Endless Ocean Luminous stands out because of the peace and quiet in which everything can be done. The speed at which goals and missions are achieved is entirely in your hands. The graphics, music and background sounds are all aimed at taking you away from everything and everyone. In summary, it is a wonderful game to play and relax!

Sand Land is a fine game, thanks to a fun story and a loveable cast of characters. The gameplay is just a bit too simple at times, while some frustrating design choices can leave you frustrated at certain points.
