Shovel Knight has all the ingredients to make a game fantastic. There is more than enough challenge present to keep your attention. In addition, all levels are unique and a joy to play. The game looks beautiful with its 8-bit jacket and knows how to make you long for the games of yesteryear.

Bayonetta 2 is a great game on the Wii U that you'll enjoy for many hours, but Bayonetta's stylus controls, multiplayer options, and a number of quotes are disappointing.

Forza Horizon 2 is perfect in many areas. Visually, there is nothing to complain about, as it is not with the handling of the cars. The eye for detail is fantastic and the elaboration of additions such as Drivatars and music are also very well worked out. This added to the varied and spectacular modes, do ensure that minor negatives like the hitches and lack of customization are in the way of failure. Forza Horizon 2 is the best Forza ever!

Whether you're a seasoned Minecraft player, or a complete noob, the Minecraft Xbox One Edition is as addictive as all its predecessors. The game constantly keeps you busy searching for resources, creating new tools, and building or expanding your base. Meanwhile, you're constantly exploring untouched areas and the game remains terribly exciting as you're under attack every night and have to survive.

Although Destiny is a great game, we expected it to be a bit bigger. Nonetheless, it plays amazingly, has some beautiful planets and we look forward to the raids in the future.

CounterSpy is an interesting stealth-game, with a mix between 2D- and 3D-gameplay. The graphical style and music top this amazing, little game off.

Hohokum is a really relaxing game, with brightly colored worlds and soothing music, but people looking for a challenge are at the wrong address with Hohokum.

But the biggest reason why you should bring this game into your home is because of the co-op. Online or offline. Especially if you're the proud owner of one of the new consoles that don't yet have as many cooperative titles that offer as much depth as this one. In short, there is no better time to board the Diablo train.

If we forget his twin brother for the PS3 for a moment, The Last of Us: Remastered is a top-notch game that should definitely not be missing from your collection of PS4 games. Is this a game to buy a PlayStation 4 for? If you haven't played the game yet, then definitely. But if you already have the PS3 version, it might be better to wait for an offer. After all, you don't pay for extra gameplay, but for a new lick of paint.

Shovel Knight is a nice glimpse into the past of video games, but at the same time also an example of successful modern sidescrollers. Through tight controls, fantastic style, and a level of difficulty that's just high enough, Shovel Knight can easily be mentioned in the same breath as the classics it pays tribute to.

But that's really the only big downside of the game. Divintiy: Original Sin shows for the rest that the pure computer role-playing games are alive again and that we can actually uncork the champagne for that fact.

Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition is still just as rewarding to play a year on as it was then. The colorful, humorous world is a welcome change from all the dark games and besides, we rarely see this Mexican style in gameland. What's more, there's an offline cooperative mode that allows you to finish the game entirely with a fellow luchador.

It's easy to fall in love with Monochroma's style, but the stiff and slow responsiveness of the controls and the annoying brother on your back, makes it a tough challenge to complete the game.

The announcement of Garden Warfare was an odd one, but in the end it turns out to be a brilliant decision. Garden Warfare is colourful, funny, challenging, cheap and within a few months new content will make up for the lack of game-modes.

Rayman Legends is one and remains a good game. It was already super on the current-gen consoles and is even better on the next-gen consoles. Ubisoft hasn't been sitting still and really did something to make a difference between this version and the earlier version for the older consoles. If you don't have the game yet, you'll have to go get it anyway. If you already have the game for other consoles, then you have to start asking yourself if the game is worth it and whether the pluses improve so much that you have to have the game a second time.

It does some things very well, but drops some stitches. The single player is roughly entertaining, but isn't made for long play sessions: the missions are often very short and simple in form. The co-op makes up for a lot, only this mode has a big lack of content. This is a great pity, as it is precisely that multiplayer that brings out the fun. Halo: Spartan Assault doesn't impress as much as had been hoped for beforehand, but it's worth it. Even if you don't have anything with Halo.

It's clear from the start that Liberation HD is a remake of a Vita-game. Some mechanics are really interesting tough, like the costume-system, but are on the other hand poorly implemented. At the end of the day it's an interesting, but lesser Assassin's Creed.

Ryse: Son of Rome is a game you need to have for your Xbox One for the great pictures and detailed, realistic environments in the ancient Roman Empire. Furthermore, this game offers little original. It's a very solid game in which you can make your move, as long as you have good timing. Keep your cool, because those enemies who attack all at once are working the nerves when you try to go off your beautiful little bit of buttons. Ryse does, however, give you a nice challenging game that has virtually no weird glitches.

In the real world, we consume a lot of media products that have to do with zombies, apocalypses and other virus outbreaks. You'd think Dead Rising 3 is an overload of this, but nothing could be further from the truth. Developer Capcom Vancouver has put in such a variety of zombies, fat weapons, and weird humor that Dead Rising 3 stays fresh. And that's quite an achievement, given all the blood and rancidity that shuffles past you.

The nice thing is that you are not only surprised by new possibilities, but also by old elements that come back in a good and unexpected way. It's not a refresh like Super Mario Galaxy, but Super Mario 3D World is a great mix of old-fashioned platforms and modern 3D gaming. We jump, with claws out, a hole in the air.
