In the grand scheme of things, if you can afford it, Destiny 2 is now easily the best shooter on the market. I absolutely love where Destiny 2 is now, and hope the Forsaken expansion is a glimpse at things to come.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider doesn't do a lot new. It has some big problems as far as story and themes are concerned, but it remains a fun experience at the end of the day. If you're already a fan of the series, you find more what you enjoyed before, but new players are better served in the previous entries.

When it comes down to it, Shenmue I & II are very much games that helped define the action and adventure genre of 3D games, meaning that for some, the titles, especially the first game, may feel dated, however, for those who can look past that, Shenmue I & II both offer some of the best in storytelling, atmosphere, and charm, that even some other contemporary titles fail to capture.
