Emio - The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club is an interactive narrative with a terrifying lore, an absorbing mystery and charismatic characters, marred by a very linear structure and little gameplay.

Concord tenta inspirar-se noutros jogos semelhantes, mas as personagens, gameplay e história do jogo são demasiados genéricos para justificarem um preço de 39.99€.

A 3D exploration and action adventure capable of offering good and interesting moments, especially in terms of combat dynamics. It's not one of the most polished 3D games, but it's original and fun to explore.

A mix of acclaimed AAA action-adventure third-person shooters that could compensate for its lack of originality with a good story and exciting scenes, but fails to do so. A Star Wars action-adventure should leave you fascinated and entertained, not indifferent.

Madden NFL 25 is a superior game to the previous one, whether in animations, artificial intelligence, menus or Career Mode. However, don't expect anything really new or innovative, just in-depth coverage of the NFL with no surprises.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is an action, strategy, and tower defense game in one, set in feudal Japan full of magic and fantasy. With a high degree of variety, it always expects the unexpected.

The Sky Breaker is a DLC that does not bring any significant improvement to the gaming experience. It just adds missions that are essentially a copy of those already in the base game, adapted to a new narrative line that, in practice, is not particularly inspiring.

Nintendo World Championship: NES Edition is a fun collection of Nintendo minigames, bringing together more than 150 challenges inspired by the studio's classics. Mario, Metroid or Zelda are part of the package, but find out a little.

It captures the spirit and form of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but introduces a concept and a series of well-designed mechanics from a less explored genre within this universe.

A remarkable return of Super Monkey Ball, in a new adventure full of short and fun challenges. It is virtuoso in accessibility but does not renounce an increase in difficulty for those who want the best scores. An adventure that can be shared with more players.

On a solo dive or in joint exploration, Endless Ocean Luminous renews the purposes of maritime exploration. It is a journey to the bottom of the oceans that can both inebriate and seduce lovers of corals and marine species, as well as leave them somewhat disappointed in the formation of a challenge that is not always consistent. Much of the interest in this exploration rests on a sense of discovery, the surprises of what is possible to find and the cataloguing of the hundreds of creatures that inhabit the salty waters. The environment and sense of isolation under the sea are really convincing, but after a handful of hours we continue to do the same thing from the beginning of the game, cataloguing one creature and moving on to the next.

Stellar Blade may not be everything I wanted, but it's everything I needed, an action and style game that made me feel all the fun I felt when I played the best titles in the genre from PlatinumGames, to the point of making me think of much more than NieR: Automata or Bayonetta. It made me think of Vanish, Blade Runner, The Matrix, and Evangelion. The themes are hard and intense, approached in a slightly lighter tone than Yoko Taro did in her Japanese work, in a plot that sharpens curiosity and a gameplay that is easy to learn, but difficult to master. Stellar Blade has earned its place among the games that inspired it.

With Unicorn Overlord, Vanillaware presents another fantastic proposal in which it combines its characteristic visual trait with an experience of strategy and management. By removing the focus from the combat itself, the developer is able to introduce its personal stamp to an already high-quality genre, which combined with the exploration design, progression, side stories and overall storyline make Unicorn Overlord the best game ever made by Vanillaware.

The truth is, I'm a little confused as to the purpose of this new Alone in the Dark. From an investigative point of view, it's well-balanced, but there's no trace of the series' signature horror formula, let alone any element of survival. On top of that, it doesn't bring anything new to the genre. It's an emotionless experience that seems to use the franchise's name only as a strategy to attract players looking for novelties in the genre. Alone in the Dark deserved better, and Pieces Interactive obviously couldn't get the job done.

As you'd expect, the scale of the game is reflected in the price itself, and you can pick it up for the modest sum of €3.99 - a fair price for what you get in return that could help its developer create more content and updates. Either way, SUMMERHOUSE has a demo in case you want to try it out before a possible purchase. If you fondly remember those long summer days in the country house, this is a simulator that recreates that nostalgic feeling perfectly.

Skull and Bones, unfortunately, doesn't offer much more than a disappointing experience. Ubisoft insisted on a project that, from the beginning, lacked the necessary elements to result in a satisfactory final product. The result is in many ways embarrassing: it turns out to be one of the most boring games I've tried in recent years. Most of the time is spent in a never-ending search for resources to improve our boat, an activity so monotonous that the desire to return is practically nil.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is pure magic in the form of interactive art. I found myself thinking about how majestic the original on which it is based is and how ambitious it was for the time. We can only describe as phenomenal what Squaresoft has managed to do with the limitations of height. Playing Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth makes you feel like you're playing a game from that era, with an emotional campaign full of impactful moments, supported by a huge world to explore. It's easy to lose track of the hours exploring these various places for secrets, always looking for easter eggs and curiosities that greatly reinforce the sense of discovery and wonder. The original is my favorite game of all time and Rebirth deserves to be featured alongside it.

Despite the limited length and a lesser capacity to surprise as you progress through the eight worlds, Mario Vs Donkey Kong is still an exciting, fun and challenging experience. The gameplay is impeccable, as well as the revamped graphics have a catch-all that the original clearly no longer produces unless you're a die-hard fan of retro games. Mario vs Donkey Kong's cleaned face fits the Switch screen well, shining through colours, enemy detail and moving objects. It's one of those games that asks us to think and reflect, continuously, between jumps and other spinning operations. A great alternative to the usual platform games.

In short, Helldivers 2 presents itself as a cooperative shooter with the potential to attract at first impulse. With multiple layers of fun, especially when played with friends, it offers some entertaining moments. However, the flaws remain evident, from a variety of technical issues to a lack of long-term content. It is possible to quickly reach the saturation point, and it doesn't take many hours for this to happen. It seems clear that the game wasn't ready to launch, lacking more polish and content, something that we hope will be resolved in the near future.
