Thank Goodness You're Here! is a delightfully absurd slap-happy adventure set in a surreal British village, where chaos and comedy go hand in hand. While its gameplay is minimal, the hand-drawn visuals, eccentric humor, and brilliant voice acting make it a uniquely entertaining experience.

Kingdom Hearts is one of the most formidable multiverse stories in gaming history, and this extensive remaster package presents one of the best deals around. Not all of the games have aged gracefully, but the best ones have stood the test of time. They're classics for a reason.

Flintlock might be overtly familiar, but it's also an honest God of War clone with imagination and ideas to spare. For the price, it's a welcome addition to the genre, one that should tide you over until the next big thing comes along.

The art design and style are top notch, so it's a shame the rest of the content can't live up to them. Cartoonish Schim is by no means a bad game, but its gameplay and offerings do not support the genius concept.

Ubisoft has received a lot of criticism over the years for various reasons, but Beyond Good & Evil – 20th Anniversary Edition is almost perfect restoration of the 2004 classic: the studio has clearly invested a great deal of time, effort, and love to this project. An experience that attempts to reconcile a thematically challenging narrative framework with air hockey mini-games and Jamaican rhinos – surely no one can deny that such a game has its place in today’s gaming lineup?

Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD brings the 3DS ghost-hunting adventure to the Switch with a fresh coat of paint and the same charming, spooky gameplay. While the lack of new content may frustrate returning players, newcomers will find a polished and entertaining haunted romp.

The Final Shape has several staggeringly annoying design choices and raid encounters, and solo adventurers rarely feel welcome. But it's also full of welcome fanservice, tender goodbyes, and a sense of scale this long story has seen before. If it's a farewell, it's well worth it.

Indika tells an arresting story about humanity and the influence of religion on a sensitive individual. Nothing in life is black and white, and fortunately many things have changed in the world of the 21st century. Still, several of the game's themes are still relevant. It's a shame that a few sections break the arc of the otherwise intact story and take away the best edge from the thought-provoking title.

Despite some nitpicks, the System Shock remake is absolutely stunning, and makes this 30-year-old sci-fi classic feel fresh once again. There’s something mysteriously captivating about exploring Citadel, despite its oppressive and unique atmosphere that it’s quite difficult to put into words. Nevertheless, this remake is great for newcomers like myself, but also fans of the original.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door returns in a stunning HD remake that preserves the charm, humor, and tactical depth of the GameCube classic. While new content is minimal, the visual overhaul, quality-of-life improvements, and timeless gameplay make this a must-play for both newcomers and longtime fans.

Eiyuden Chronicles is the spiritual successor to the Suikoden series, and a heartbreaking farewell to Yoshitaka Murayama, who passed away unexpectedly earlier this year. As such, it's a bittersweet experience: one that thrills and excites, only to remind us that we'll never see something like it again.

The roughly six-hour-long campaign of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is a commendably well-written and audiovisually stunning work, but its gameplay leaves something to be desired. While I am a fan of story-driven and more compact experiences, I would've liked to give Senua a bit more room to explore the harsh and unadorned, yet oh-so-beautiful Iceland. Maybe I’m alone in my opinion — who knows — but the lack of freedom inevitably affects the final score.

Duck Detective: The Secret Salami is a short and quirky mystery adventure starring a down-on-his-luck duck with a knack for deduction and dramatic quacking. While the gameplay is light and the case small-scale, its charming humor, voice acting, and cozy runtime make it a delightful enough snack of a game.

Endless Ocean Luminous offers a tranquil underwater experience with hundreds of marine species to scan and admire, especially enjoyable in multiplayer. However, its repetitive gameplay, lack of meaningful progression, and cryptic objectives leave solo players adrift in a sea of missed potential.

Princess Peach's latest adventure is a charming experience that is well-suited for the youngest members of the family, but it can be a bit boring to more experienced players. Nevertheless, the humour and different scenarios are something that can entertain adults as well.

Sand Land is a traditional action-adventure made better by the iconic style and wit of Akira Toriyama. It's also a sorrowful farewell to the maestro who helped revolutionize how the West viewed anime. We're lucky his final outing is this much fun and provides a fitting conclusion to his career.

Stellar Blade is exactly what it says on the tin. It isn't big, original, or even novel, and the experience turns tedious well before the 20-hour campaign draws to a close. The aggressive fanservice is equally dour and does nothing to hide the lazy shortcuts the narrative takes.

Hi-Fi Rush is exemplary in terms of accessibility. Simply an ultra-polished, ultra-stylish brawler fest that had me hooked from the very first moments all the way through the credits—and even beyond. Normally, I don’t bother with post-game content, but the sheer quality of the experience was enough to make me dive right into testing new modes and hunting down missed treasures. So, if you’re into action games and happen to have 30 euros burning a hole in your pocket, I can’t think of a better way to spend them than this. Slightly clunky platforming is a minor flaw in an otherwise brilliant package.

Mixing Wallace & Gromit with Terry Gilliam, the delightful Harold Halibut has charm and artistry to spare. It's just a shame the gameplay gets in the way of a good thing, and often left me wondering whether this would have been better as an animated special instead.

In the era of difficult and challenging games, it's sometimes great to experience something serenely beautiful as a counterbalance. Botany Manor grows flowers with a puzzle-like approach, and it does not offer anything very surprising, but it does everything it promises with admirable professionalism.
