Remember Jedi Power Battles, where you could play as a Jedi and jump and fight around like in Episode 1? They brought it back to modern consoles! Sadly, none of it is as good as I remembered it.

Featuring one of the most immersive game worlds ever created, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is a hugely entertaining adventure yarn that rivals the film epics of Ridley Scott. Some of the game mechanics are downright terrible, but its story and characters are so enthralling that any complaints eventually fall by the wayside. It's only February, yet this is already a strong contender for one of the best games of the year.

Skull Island: Rise of Kong has badass cover art, and that's the only good thing you can say about it. I've played plenty of bad games in my life, but this just might be the worst.

The narrative is still a jumbled mess, but the surprisingly deep combat system and breathtaking battles make this one of the finest entries in the long-running franchise.

Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer won't revolutionize the world of exercise gaming, but it's still a perfectly fine way to work up a sweat. After two weeks, I found it a fantastic outlet to relieve stress and keep myself active even when I didn't have the time or energy for anything else.

The Thing has lots to love and plenty to get frustrated about. Even with quality-of-life improvements, certain design choices are hopelessly dated, and the final act, with its over-the-top gunplay, is more comical than scary. Still, it's full of love for John Carpenter's iconic horror movie, and that alone means a lot.

Fantasian is comfort food for fans of the genre. It's a gorgeously made exploration of all the themes Hironobu Sakaguchi began to explore with Final Fantasy. It's almost traditional to a fault, but that won't matter to the devoted, who will rejoice in the return to the familiar.

At the price, it's hard to recommend Dog Man: Mission Impawsible to anyone but the utmost devoted fans of the books. Everyone else is better off hunting for something else to play.

The first expansion to the superlative Final Fantasy XVI is slight but memorable thanks to some terrific boss battles and visually breathtaking splendor. As a continuation of one of the best Final Fantasy titles in years, it's a welcome addition well worth exploring.

While only a few hours in length, Vampire the Masquerade - Reckoning of New York feels unfinished and hastily put together. The first parts were high-quality visual novels all around, so it's hard to understand how the series could end so poorly.

If karaoke is the best thing you can do with your clothes on (or off), Let's Sing 2025 could be the star of the show for you. The song list is revamped, there's a breezy story mode, and it's as fun alone as it is with friends. There's nothing particularly new here, but everything there is works.

The Great Circle isn't without faults, but MachineGames' accomplishments are so staggering that it doesn't matter. It captures the heart and imagination the same way that Spielberg and Mangold did with their stories of the beloved archeologist. Welcome back, Indy.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard feels refreshing and joyful action RPG even for a newcomer to the series. It continues the story started by previous games but still completely stands on it's own feet offering a great and fullfilling experience in the end.

The Alan Wake 2: The Lake House DLC expands on the main game’s lore by introducing a tense, horror-filled investigation into a mysterious research facility linked to the Federal Bureau of Control. With eerie environments, limited resources, and nightmarish enemies, the expansion masterfully blends Alan Wake’s signature gameplay with Control’s brutalist aesthetic, further deepening the Remedy-connected universe while hinting at the future arrival of Control 2.

The Alan Wake 2: Night Springs DLC offers three distinct, hour-long episodes that explore different aspects of the Remedyverse with a mix of horror, humor, and meta-narrative twists. Featuring familiar characters like Jesse Faden and Tim Breaker, along with deep-cut references to Quantum Break and Control, the expansion provides an engaging, self-contained experience that enriches the game’s universe, making it a worthwhile addition for fans.

Sonic Generations, especially with its technical improvements, is as excellent as before, and Shadow Generations is one of the best titles in the series. Even if you're not a fan of the 2D sidescrolling action, Sonic x Shadow Generations is a fantastic introduction to the iconic franchise.

It only took 14 years, but Red Dead Redemption is finally out on PC. While the heady mix of Sam Peckinpah, Clint Eastwood, and Blood Meridian is still superlative in places, time hasn't treated all aspects of Rockstar's great western kindly. This one might be for completionists only.

Miniatures is a beautiful, but way too short experience. On an emotional level, it is difficult to identify with the memories, because the script does not reveal the background story at all, and the player only gets to experience four different fairy-tale situations. The audiovisual implementation is impressive, especially the different drawing and animation styles deserve nothing but praise. But when the lid of the digital memory box closes, Miniatures is also quickly forgotten.

Life is Strange: Double Exposure delivers a worthy continuation of Max Caulfield’s story, introducing a gripping dual-timeline mystery where she must solve her friend’s murder while navigating a parallel reality. With strong writing, emotional depth, and well-executed supernatural elements, the game stays true to the series’ essence, though its abrupt ending and monetized DLC content may leave some players frustrated.
