If you enjoy science fiction, futuristic settings and detective series or movies, Neon Blood is perfectly made for you. ChaoticBrain Studios has managed to develop a very good narrative adventure that blends cyberpunk and film noir aesthetics wonderfully.

Superstatic offers a very interesting rogue-lite with a context that fits perfectly (despite its paranormal mysteries). The combination of action gameplay with isometric view and card-based skill set building makes it unique.

Square-Enix wants to stir up our nostalgia (spiced with a touch of freshness) thanks to this revamped version of one of its classic gems. The release of Dragon Quest III may be a long time ago, but thanks to this reimagining we will be able to enjoy one of the best games that came out at the time.

In conclusion, Planet Coaster 2 is a management game that leaves nothing to chance. Its depth is increasing with each new release. If you are a lover of these titles, you will love the amount of areas that you must have under control.

I think anyone who likes RPGs or narrative adventure games should play VED. It's one of the best indie titles of this year and has more than enough gameplay mechanics and ideas to justify its purchase in its 7 hours of average length. It's also a visual treat that hits you right in the eye from minute 1.

Lovers of action games should not miss this collection presented by Irem. There are several games where bullets come and go in different ways. While Air Duel repeats the mechanics of the ship shooter as we saw in Irem Collection Vol. 1, we have in this pack two other titles that are based on the classic run'n gun games of the time.

In short, Metal Slug Tactics is a fresh and exciting proposition that captures the essence of the series. It also enriches it by introducing new elements where its exciting and risky mix of strategy and roguelike stand out. All this while staying true to the iconic visual style that we loved so much in its time.

Empire Of The Ants puts forward a fairly adequate perspective of a world. It does not fall into exaggerated extravagances for what ants are. It uses a scientific basis for what it proposes. The ants, although they talk and the protagonist jumps, are ants and have a hierarchy and real needs. This is supported by a photorealism that prevents you from looking away, with close but wild scenarios from the insects' point of view.

Tetris Forever is undoubtedly a tribute to this living legend of videogames and a walk through time during its 40 years of history, its conception by a brilliant mind and a collaboration that expanded a fantastic idea all over the world. The video-documentaries are very interesting, revealing facts you probably don't know, and the images take you back to the time when video games were born.

Mea Culpa and its free update complete a work that was already almost perfect. The two new areas and the new storyline encourage us to once again don the Penitent's hood to slay all those infidels who cross our path.

Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania is a must-have DLC for fans of both franchises. With its gothic atmosphere, iconic characters and new gameplay mechanics, this DLC enriches the Vampire Survivors experience and pays a ‘celestial’ homage to Castlevania.

The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication is a title that will delight horror fans, and specifically fans of Asian horror. It is a title similar to other proposals such as Visage or Amnesia, but with its own identity.

Both for those who played Sonic Tema and SEGA's proposal at the time, and for those who are getting into this work for the first time, this is a doubly interesting title. On the one hand, the facelift of Sonic Generations makes it a rounded product.

SlavicPunk: Oldtimer is a game that combines an interesting story with a poorly executed narrative. Its way of telling what happens makes it difficult to follow the thread of the game. The gameplay starts out very addictive, but ends up falling short as time goes by. After a few hours the absence of a system of looting weapons, equipment or improvements for our character make the gameplay into something anodyne.

Raven Software and Treyarch are making a safe bet with this new instalment packed with gameplay. The campaign is great, and they've dispensed with the tedious stealth areas we saw in the previous iteration to offer a more linear story full of epic moments. There are still open areas and infiltration missions, but they are much more constrained and, above all, better handled.

As a Visual novel, Slay The Princess - The Pristine Cut takes the protagonist's involvement in decision-making a step further, with not only the ramifications of the story being varied, but also the fact that questioning the narrator brings with it many more possibilities.

Unknown 9: Awakening is a half-baked game. On paper, everything was pointing to a triple AAA title. A big company like Bandai Namco, a famous face like the beloved Yennefer from The Witcher and a team of 120 people working for many years. All this potential is palpable in some aspects of the game like the story, the art and a pretty deep gameplay concept.

In the run-up to Halloween, there's nothing better than a low-pol title to enjoy a couple of nights of suspense and tension on our sofa. Blumhouse Games and Cozy Game Pals bring us a title with clear retro reminiscences, where we will wander through a very spooky high school.

I have tried not to go into too much detail about what I have found on a playable level within Neva, beyond highlighting that all the mechanics it proposes are fulfilled in an original, fun and satisfying way. Because the main reason why you should play Neva is because of the artistic explosion it means at many levels from beginning to end.
