While it borrows elements from popular games in weapons, enemies, and side stages, it successfully blends them into a single enjoyable adventure. It could have been one of my standout experiences this year, if not for technical issues like poor controller integration, multiple bugs, and the inability to change dialogue language, which affected the overall experience despite the game’s clear passion and ambition.
