8.5 / 10.0 - Quest of Dungeons
Sep 15, 2015

Roguelike fans will have some fun in Quest for Dungeons, just keep in mind, this roguelike doesn't mess around and when you die, you start over from scratch.

While I had my issues with the game, Pirate Warriors 3 was still a fun ride. The style and the action are both fun and look great, and any Warriors fan should take a look at it. While the PC version is inferior to the others, I would suggest going with the PS4 version if you have the means to do so, even to just experience the multiplayer. If there is no other way, Pirate Warriors 3 is still a blast to play even if it is short changed on the PC.

6 / 10.0 - Super Toy Cars
Sep 4, 2015

While it does have its issues, the racing is fine and the look of it all is interesting and fun. It's not going to blow anyone's socks off, but it does offer a decent racing experience if you're able to handle the issues it has. There's a decent amount to do for the single player gamer, but people looking for a competitive experience will have to look elsewhere.

Some of the design choices made in both the game play and the technical aspects really turned me off of the experience after a while, but I can see some great things in Dishonored if people have the patience for it. Just keep in mind, if you die or mess up, you're going to be see a long loading screen.

9 / 10.0 - Runbow
Aug 31, 2015

Looking past those issues, Runbow is a fantastic game that I believe every Wii U owner should have. It's great single player and even more fun with some friends, both locally and online. Without a doubt, this is a great party game that has all the makings for a must have Wii U title. I can't suggest it enough.

7.5 / 10.0 - Fairy Fencer F

It's still not going to go down as a world class RPG that everyone should play, but If/Compa fans will get a lot out of it, and it does some interesting things with its mechanics that I think many JRPG fans will enjoy. It's simple in nature and complex when getting into the nitty-gritty customization and harder combat sequences. This is by far the best game the developers have released to date, and JRPG fans should check it out.

5.5 / 10.0 - Submerged
Aug 7, 2015

Submerged is not a bad game, but most certainly not an outstanding one. I enjoyed what it did for the time it took me to finish the story, but for players looking for more substance, there are other games out there that offer more.

I firmly believe Life is Strange is an amazing series, and I stick by this statement. This episode kicks it into overdrive and now makes the next month and a half wait for the finale that much longer.

If you're into the crazy Japanese stories that eventually lead to some even crazier madness, this is the game for you. If you think cutesy pigeon dating is not for you or if you're not much of a reader, stay away. Stay far away.

For $25, you get a fine fighting game that plays great and looks pretty amazing. Players who own the first iteration and the DLC may need to think extra hard if they really want to double dip, but fighting game fans that are looking for a flashy, complex, and fun fighting game and haven't tried this game out yet need to pick it up. 5.5 / 10.0 - No Time to Explain
Jul 24, 2015

While not going to blow anyone's socks off, No Time to Explain is an ok game. The platfoming using the laser beam can get frustrating, especially after realizing it revolves more around dumb luck rather than pure skill. There are some unique things to be seen here, but I would highly recommend a price drop at least.

Rory Mcilroy PGA Tour is a well playing game, and when it's all said and done, that's what I was looking for. The customization in the play styles is well done, and the actual golf in the game is fun and as accessible as I wanted it to be. While the career mode and online portions of the game are lacking in the options and features department, I still found myself enjoying what I was playing. Both hardcore and casual golf fans will find a fun playing golf game, but players looking for a lot of modes and options won't find it here.

The strategy involved in each encounter really makes for a fun and satisfying game that both RPG and strategy fan can enjoy. I say give it a shot.

Communication is very important and playing solo is too much of a chore, but if you can get a few friends to play with you, this is a pretty great game to own. I highly suggest giving it a shot.

6.5 / 10.0 - Magicka 2
Jun 2, 2015

Magicka 2 takes some getting used to and even after getting used to it, it can still be unwieldy at times. Playing co-op is the way to go, and can even be rather fun that way. Just keep in mind, it can get frustrating and downright mean playing solo.

It takes a bit of skill to get the entire thing down, but Portal Pinball is a solid table for sure that I think Zen Pinball fans will enjoy. I recommend picking this one up.

With the power to rewind time and choose what happens it always comes with a price; it could be good or bad, but in the end it will always affect us. Life is Strange has shown that in a spectacular way, and I highly suggest it to anyone reading this review.

There's nothing much that can be said about this game that hasn't already been said. It is a fantastic fighting game that still holds up to this day. It means something when it is the showcase game for EVO, the fighting game world championship

Schrodinger's Cat is a clever little game. While the platforming can be spotty at times, and trial and error can become a bit frustrating, in the end, I actually had a fun time with it.

5 / 10.0 - Toren
May 18, 2015

The game is beautiful in many aspects, but with multiple glitches, slightly broken mechanics, short play time ,and performance issues, it is hard for me to say pick it up at full price. In fact, I would say give this game a shot once it goes on sale. Until then, hold off on this rather unique title.
