This is a very faithful remake to the story and structure of the original Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly, which is appreciated, but it could have done much more to make the original experience more interesting. Many of the new elements are underutilized and it retains old elements that feel outdated, but beneath it all, we still find a wonderful and chilling horror story with a strong japanese flavor that is well worth experiencing, whether on PS2 or PS5.

While it's not the first racing game with an anime aesthetic or a storyline, it's great that developers continue to experiment with this combination of elements. Screamer is a game with a lot of personality and interesting ideas in terms of visuals, gameplay, and narrative, but those same ideas can make the controls frustrating and the difficulty of some races seem insurmountable for some players.

I didn't like any of the gameplay elements of Tales of Berseria Remastered, but its story, soundtrack, and characters captivated me so much that I could tolerate its bizarre combat system, repetitive levels, and clunky customization.

I love the different take on the Monster Hunter universe offered by the Stories sub-series. Its themes of ecological preservation fit much better than the indiscriminate hunting for better gear in the main saga, and its Game of Thrones-esque story of warring kingdoms adds a lot of points. But it's the monster breeding and enhancement systems that will keep you glued to this title for hours. Some mechanics don't work perfectly and the story loses steam over time, but it's undoubtedly an excellent creature-catching JRPG.

While I love the idea of experiencing the world of God of War in other styles and genres, Sons of Sparta is somewhat disappointing. It's a fun adventure with some great moments, but it suffers from major problems due to its unbalanced combat system, numerous bugs, jerky animations, and a story that never finds its footing despite having interesting ideas that explore the darker aspects of Spartan martial culture.

A great survival horror game with a lot of personality and big ideas. Some of those ideas may not quite come together, but its fantastic religious aesthetic, ingenious world, and settings full of secrets made me fall in love with Tormentosa.

Exploring the open world of Valkyrie Saga in search of secrets is a delight. It offers excellent platforming challenges, an open and engaging progression system, and a mysterious lore. Although its numerous bugs and technical issues can be quite annoying, and its low-poly retro style isn't particularly striking, it's a highly recommended game for curious players who enjoy leaving no corner unexplored.

Cairn is the first great work of art of 2026. It not only elevates climbing mechanics but uses them to tell a grand narrative about obsession, the human potential to push beyond one's limits, the sacrifices necessary to achieve this, and whether they are worth it. It's an appropriately difficult game and can be frustrating at times, but overcoming each obstacle is supremely satisfying.

For every thing Code Vein II does right, it does two things wrong. I had a lot of fun with its character creator and experimenting with its combat system, but its absurd story, boring environments, technical issues, and uneven pacing made it a tedious experience. Despite all that, it can offer some truly great moments, and its appealing characters will surely win it a fair number of fans.

Skate Story is a fantastic, surreal experience that, despite being a skateboarding game, is nothing like the Tony Hawk Pro Skater games. While performing trick combos is necessary to overcome some sections, it presents skateboarding more as a method of expression for connecting with this bizarre world than as a mechanical system for accumulating points. That, along with its fantastic atmosphere, is what makes it special.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion is a very simple beat 'em up that offers immediate fun without much fuss. It boasts a fantastic cast of playable characters and lots of love for the comic book universe, despite a mediocre story loosely inspired by the Annihilation saga. Veteran gamers might be disappointed by the lack of difficulty, few incentives to use different strategies, and lack of innovation in a genre that is becoming increasingly repetitive.

Neon Inferno is a fantastic arcade-style title with beautiful pixel-art that will delight players who focus on replaying a game until they perfect it, while for everyone else it will be a brief but entertaining distraction.

Possessor(s) is a great Metroidvania with excellent narrative ideas, incredible character designs and very fun gameplay. It will be difficult for it to stand out in such a competitive market as this genre, which already boasts so many masterpieces, and some of its flaws may frustrate some players. But if it manages to find the right audience, it could become a huge success.

All Mortal Kombat fans, those who feel nostalgia or curiosity about the series, and those looking to study it MUST experience this fantastic collection. Digital Eclipse continues to demonstrate that they are not only masters at reviving classics, but that true video game preservation requires a wealth of documentary context, which they are willing to provide.

It's a good game that mixes a lot of genres so we have a little of twin-stick shooter with melee combat in arenas that feel a little "hotlinemiamilike", survival horror sections and even a little skating. The atmosphere is amazing, the soundtrack is a beast and the plots works well. But the unbalanced combat and awful stealth mechanics really hurt my feelings for the game. I'll remember it fondly, but I don't know If I will wanna play it again.

If you're not sick of the roguelite systems seen in games like Vampire Survivors and Balatro applied to other games, you're sure to enjoy Ball X Pit. The block-breaking mechanics it uses are a lot of fun, and it's always satisfying to see the results of a well-crafted build. However, it can get repetitive eventually.

Its story has some good moments, but it's riddled with clichés, and while it has interesting breeding and combat systems, some of its mechanics make it feel stuck in the past. Despite all that, it's a must-play adventure for Digimon fans that can be quite fun for those who aren't too demanding.

I'm having a lot of fun dancing with new maps like APT., Hung Up, All Star, Abracadabra, and Houdini. As always, Just Dance is perfect for family reunions and friends visits, but I'm still think is just too expensive for what is just a 40 song pack. The new party mode is dissapointing and its a crime that we still have to pay for the Just Dance+ subscription if we want access to more songs.

None of the control, sound, animation, or bug issues prevented me from falling in love with Bye Sweet Carole. Its powerful story, engaging puzzles, and beautiful Don Bluth-inspired art were more than enough to make it one of my favorite games of 2025.

Silent Hill f is a true Silent Hill. It's true that its setting and combat system—which is clumsy and boring—are very different to what we know on the series, but if we look beyond the superficial, we discover that it's an evolution of the themes and horror stories that the cursed town franchise has always handled. If we add to that an impressive Asian horror atmosphere, terrifying enemy designs, and an excellent and tragic story about the chains that a patriarchal society places on women, we have a true gem.
