Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes is a short but intense nightmare. All in all, this foray into VR doesn’t feel like an experiment. To me, it’s a successful evolution that reinforces the core of the franchise: vulnerability, tension and grotesque beauty. Despite the short playtime, a few pacing issues and some control problems, this is a highly immersive experience. Fans of the series and horror enthusiasts get exactly what they’re looking for: an intense, physical and beautifully crafted plunge into an unsafe nightmare.

Mouse P.I. For Hire is a game that managed to charm me because it does something no one else dares to do. The rubberhose style, the jazz, the noir vibe and the fluid combat combine to create a unique experience. But beneath that beautiful façade lies a shooter that sometimes relies too much on style and too little on substance. Still, it remains a ride you won’t soon forget. Mouseburg is a place where I enjoyed spending my time. Mouse P.I. For Hire isn’t perfect, but it is memorable. And sometimes that’s worth more.

6 / 10 - Starfield
Apr 21, 2026

Starfield on PlayStation 5 (Pro) is a graphical gem that gets tangled up in its own galaxy of systems. If you play this game on the PlayStation 5 Pro, you’ll be treated to the best console version available. But anyone hoping that Sony’s most powerful console will transform the game into a masterpiece will soon realise that even this hardware cannot resolve its fundamental issues. Starfield remains a fascinating, ambitious, but ultimately unbalanced RPG.

Mario Tennis Fever is an energetic, visually impressive and particularly accessible sports game that works perfectly as a multiplayer title. The new Fever Rackets bring fun and chaos, but at the expense of technical depth. If you are looking for an airy, colorful tennis experience with friends, this is the right place for you. However, if you expect a competitive, strategic sports game with a solid single player, Fever stays just below the bar.

Neva: Prologue is a small, atmospheric and lovingly made extra chapter for Neva. It therefore seems to be mainly intended for those who were not yet ready to say goodbye to Alba and Neva. It is not a must-have for everyone, but it is a wonderful addition for those who were touched by Neva. Don't expect a gameplay revolution or long playing time, but do expect an audiovisual gem that gives the bond between humans and animals even more depth. And now say for yourself, what can you still do these days for €2.99?

You already noticed it in my review: God of War: Sons of Sparta is not a new milestone in the franchise. But it is a charming and respectful spin-off that fans will surely taste. As Metroidvania, it gets stuck in the midfield. But he does give us a nice look at the young Kratos. For €29.99 this is a good Spartan snack: tasty, just nutritious enough, but not an extensive main course.

Desert Race Adventures is a charming, nostalgic rally-management game that is fun to explore, but too quickly shows its limits. The atmosphere is strong, but the gameplay lacks depth and control to really linger. For leaderboard hunters and retro fans, it is a nice snack. For the rest, it feels like a ride that ends just a little too early.

Project Motor Racing is a game that has everything it takes to set a new standard. But it loses itself in technical roughness and a lack of sophistication. The PS5 Pro version looks beautiful at times, but can't ignore the fact that the game needed more time and finish to really shine. It is a racer that will certainly intrigue enthusiasts, but that frustrates as often as it fascinates.

Kirby Air Riders on Switch 2 is a successful revival of a beloved cult classic. The game excels in charm, speed and the phenomenal City Trial, but misses opportunities in terms of content and online refinement. Fans of the GameCube version will immediately feel at home. But those who are looking for a racer with long-term progression may be a bit hungry. Give me a new platform game starring my pink friend...

Highlands Fishing brings Farming Simulator 25 to the Scottish Highlands and introduces aquaculture and fish. The new Kinlaig map and the integration of fisheries into the economic cycle are top. Yet fishing itself remains too superficial and technically fickly to really convince. A nice extra for the avid farmer, but it is certainly not a full-fledged fish simulation.

7 / 10 - Lumines Arise
Nov 13, 2025

Lumines Arise is an ode to a puzzle classic that still hasn't lost its magic. The hypnotic interplay of music and addictive gameplay remains unique. The Burst mode gives just enough extra spice to keep the formula fresh. Yet the whole thing feels more like a limited evolution than a real Lumines revolution. For fans of the fun puzzle games, this is an absolute must. But those looking for radical Lumines renewal will be captivated here for less time.

8 / 10 - Keeper
Oct 17, 2025

Keeper is a stunningly psychedelic, immersive adventure that completely captivated me. Double Fine proves once again that they are masters at creating worlds that you don’t just play, but fully experience. Through intuition, I discovered a beautiful world that was just as surprised to see me walking past as I was to see the lighthouse. Fans of slow-paced, immersive, and visually unique games absolutely must play this. And the fact that Keeper is available for just around 30 euros, and is also available via Xbox Game Pass, is a huge bonus!

After playing for just under five hours, Little Nightmares 3 left me feeling a bit lost and disappointed. For some reason, the new direction taken by Supermassive just doesn’t resonate with me. The addition of co-op is a bold attempt to breathe new life into the series, but it doesn’t quite work out in the end. The game looks absolutely stunning, but when you play it alone with the AI, it loses a lot of its charm. Fans of the series will likely get swept up in the nightmare once again. Those who, like me, were hoping for an experience as powerful and intimate as in the first two games will probably be left wanting more.

10 / 10 - Ghost of Yotei
Sep 25, 2025

I can’t help but conclude this review by saying that *Ghost of Yōtei* has turned out to be a masterfully compelling adventure. Atsu’s story had me hooked from the very beginning and didn’t let go until 30 hours later, when the credits rolled across my screen. It’s like coming home to a warm bath that’s been renovated in the meantime. The combat is much more fun thanks to the variety of weapons, the world actually looks even more beautiful, and it truly invites you to get lost in it. Let me conclude with these wise words: Go and play this game. You won’t regret it!

Kirby and the Forgotten Land + Star-Crossed World on the Nintendo Switch 2 is no revolution. But it is a loving reissue with a tasty helping of new content. The technical improvements make the colourful world look even better, as it should have done three years ago.

Donkey Kong Bananza is a fun platform game, but it suffers from a few too many issues. Exploring the beautiful worlds is a real treat at times, but the repetition sets in a bit too quickly. I think this is because the Bananza transformations are too overpowered, meaning that creative solutions can too often be solved with brute force. That doesn’t take away from the fact that I had a brilliant time playing Donkey Kong Bananza for this review. But it certainly won’t dethrone King Super Mario Odyssey.

The Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour is really nothing more than an interesting digital tour packaged as a PowerPoint presentation with an unnecessary price tag. And that’s a shame. Because this game is actually quite un-Nintendo-like, given the transparency and openness with which the Japanese manufacturer showcases its latest product. Are you a true tech enthusiast and endlessly fascinated by how things work? Then Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour is definitely for you. All other gamers would be better off keeping their €9.99 in their pockets…

Looking at the score, you might have your doubts, but I really did enjoy Mario Kart World. The karts feel like they’re made of steel, making them handle realistically, and the new tracks are great fun to explore. Yet, for me, disappointment prevails. The much-talked-about Free Roam Mode is tucked away behind an inconspicuous little menu, feels empty and lacks depth. The fact that you can no longer customise your own karts also feels like a step backwards to me, and the races with 24 racers are sometimes just too chaotic. Nevertheless, you’ll have hours of fun with this Mario Kart World. Even if you have to fork out 80 euros for it…

8 / 10 - F1 25
Jun 5, 2025

Believe it or not, this year’s latest F1 game from Codemasters is once again a tad better than last year’s. Although, as far as I’m concerned, it could have been a bit more. Braking Point makes a welcome return, but the story remains cringe-worthy for true F1 fans. The graphical updates using LIDAR look phenomenal too, but that only applies to five circuits. Racing in the opposite direction also provides a welcome change of pace. Although that’s currently only possible on three circuits. As far as I’m concerned, the feel of the car has improved significantly thanks to the enhanced handling system. So, EA Sports F1 25 takes some serious steps forward in certain areas, but misses the chance to finish twenty seconds ahead. Will it be even better next year?

Was this Days Gone Remastered necessary? No. Would many have preferred a sequel? Absolutely. But is it still an enjoyable game six years on? You can be sure of that! It gives the original a fresh shine, which it certainly deserves. Days Gone Remastered is the perfect excuse to head back to virtual Oregon. Or to explore it for the first time and immerse yourself completely in this wonderful post-apocalyptic world. Do bear in mind, though, that you’re essentially playing a six-year-old game. But once you realise that, you’re in for hours of fun.
