Pranavsingh Dhunnoo's Reviews

I have been exposed to video games for as long as I can remember, mostly as an observer, watching my siblings and cousins game on their PCs or home consoles. Nowadays I still observe games but firsthand, and I enjoy relating my experiences through my articles and reviews on GBAtemp.net. My bio sums up to being a geek, gamer and human.

The prospect of facing a trillion HP opponent should be enough to entice you to play the game. After all, who is not hyped to face such an opponent?

Apr 26, 2016

Out now for an ailing console, Severed will be remembered as one of those “console-defining” games. Actually, it’s more than just a game. It is a memorable experience unique to the PSVita that is to be savoured in its entirety.

Gal*Gun Double Peace is a bishōjo game that taps into this niche to make a surprisingly entertaining game but the limited control, skips in frame rate and interminable loading times make way for a slightly above average experience.

Psycho Pass: Mandatory Happiness will definitely appeal to fans of the anime. However with the little amount of player action and lines and lines of text, it might drive some away. However it does compensate with its replayability and engaging story line.

MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death might not appeal to a wide audience, particularly fans of DRPGs. A shallow narrative, an underutilized battle system and repetition make for an average game.

7 / 10.0 - Root Letter
Nov 20, 2016

Root Letter aims to be a game changer in the visual novel genre with its interactive segments. Unfortunately its gripping story line concludes rather blandly. Nevertheless it should prove entertaining, provided that you can bear with the protagonist.

7.3 / 10.0 - 2Dark
Mar 10, 2017

An interesting storyline, clever game and level design are all defining features of 2Dark, but it falls short when it comes to offering a challenge worthy of a survival-horror game that was anticipated with Frédérick Raynal's return to the genre.

4.5 / 10.0 - Syberia 3
May 3, 2017

Syberia 3 is a game that looks and feels old, and not in a good way. The game is infested with technical issues like clunky controls, poor animation and mediocre voice acting that take away any amount of fun that could have been present. It is only barely recommended for those die-hard fans of Kate Walker too eager to keep up to date with her latest adventure; and I'm not sure how much of a fandom will be left after this title...

Conarium is short but enjoyable game with a gripping storyline and beautiful animation. But it's not much horror as it is Lovecraftian. If you are into plots in the style of the influential horror fiction author, you should probably check it out.

7 / 10.0 - Sundered
Jul 31, 2017

Sundered is pretty to look at but as the saying goes, never judge a book by its cover. It is an unforgiving game that fails to fully satisfy the gamer. Nevertheless, if savored bite by bite to prevent the frustration and repetition from exceeding your satiety threshold, it'll prove to be a pretty entertaining title.
