Jason Stettner's Reviews
Jotun: Valhalla Edition is a lovely game featuring a strong tale of battle while having a perfectly drawn world to accompany it.
NHL 17 is a solid return to form for the series finally adding back many of the features that were removed at the start of the generation, but it never does anything to take strides forward.
Ember was a decent game packing a great amount of campaign time to it though there isn't much to do afterwards and the experience wasn't entirely that compelling.
ReCore had my full attention with great characters, a solid gripping story and then threw that away after a few hours.
Awesomenauts Assemble! does a great job in taking the MOBA format and doing something different with it.
The Dead Rising Triple Pack doesn't really do anything to improve the series, but these three games are worth it regardless.
I'd say "A Journey's End?" was a satisfying conclusion to this season of Minecraft: Story Mode though it just didn't give a very impactful finish.
Heat Evolution captures the essence of Nascar, it just doesn't do it with any excitement making the experience feel empty.
I'm truly impressed with Telltale's take on Batman creating a tense and exciting story while holding nothing back.
Forza Horizon 3 is simply the best racing game ever, never has there been such a complete and exciting package.
I'm sure some might enjoy taking on the Death Star, but I felt it was a disappointing DLC pack.
If you're checking out the Warband on consoles it most likely won't be for the campaign, but the multiplayer is a good time.
I found Virginia to be an excellent story with deep emotional aspects that were conveyed very well.
This game is straight up weird, crazy and just bizarre yet I loved playing it.
It was funny for sure, though as a game it's not entirely a full package.
The Witness is a haven for those that love puzzles being a special world for them to explore.
The Hitman season has been just plain alright and this episode while initially more exciting just didn't elevate anything.
King's Quest continues its impressive season bringing another beautiful and impactful chapter.
Atlas Reactor wasn't hard to pick up and it impressively managed to present turn based combat in a new exciting way.
Gears of War 4 proudly moves forward while retaining and respecting what made the first three games so strong.
