Jason Stettner's Reviews
I found Virginia to be an excellent story with deep emotional aspects that were conveyed very well.
If you're checking out the Warband on consoles it most likely won't be for the campaign, but the multiplayer is a good time.
I'm sure some might enjoy taking on the Death Star, but I felt it was a disappointing DLC pack.
Forza Horizon 3 is simply the best racing game ever, never has there been such a complete and exciting package.
I'm truly impressed with Telltale's take on Batman creating a tense and exciting story while holding nothing back.
Heat Evolution captures the essence of Nascar, it just doesn't do it with any excitement making the experience feel empty.
I'd say "A Journey's End?" was a satisfying conclusion to this season of Minecraft: Story Mode though it just didn't give a very impactful finish.
The Dead Rising Triple Pack doesn't really do anything to improve the series, but these three games are worth it regardless.
Awesomenauts Assemble! does a great job in taking the MOBA format and doing something different with it.
ReCore had my full attention with great characters, a solid gripping story and then threw that away after a few hours.
Ember was a decent game packing a great amount of campaign time to it though there isn't much to do afterwards and the experience wasn't entirely that compelling.
NHL 17 is a solid return to form for the series finally adding back many of the features that were removed at the start of the generation, but it never does anything to take strides forward.
Jotun: Valhalla Edition is a lovely game featuring a strong tale of battle while having a perfectly drawn world to accompany it.
Oceanhorn is a great game providing a solid amount of time for its story and many unique places to explore.
Dogos was a solid arcade styled shooter featuring a great combination of realistic graphics with the thrill of classic explosions.
After Fall is worth your time being a relaxing adventure with a world that feels so alive when you move through it.
I really loved this whole separate world they created with Nuka World and if you own Fallout 4 this is a must have experience.
The Final Station is a decent train simulator with just enough craze to it that makes this title completely unique.
The Turing Test does exactly what the title states, it provides you with many hours of logically challenging puzzles as you discover the tense secrets found within the facility.
While it may provide a great simulation for the hardcore racer, Assetto Corsa will leave the more casual racing audience behind.
