Azure Reflections is a fun SHMUP that allows players of all skill levels to get a taste of the action while offering quite a few unlockables and customization options. It has a weak story and the campaign will be over quick, so staying power may be an issue for some players. There's something undeniably euphoric about nailing a difficult fight or watching others maneuver through the chaos.
Usurper is a fun, atmospheric adventure platformer with a few notable issues holding it back from further ascension.

Sacred 3 is a surprisingly fun hack-and-slash game. It offers little to no personal customization or investment, but you can't deny that conquering waves of demons is satisfying
Sniper Elite 4 is a blast when you're in its sweet spot, tagging enemies and dispatching them from a distance. Unfortunately, it's dragged down by otherwise bad gunplay, a mediocre story, and poor voice acting. If you just want to shoot Nazis from a distance, you'll have a good time though.
Though it lacks the polish of some of its contemporaries, The Surge is a fun Dark Souls-like game with a different setting and some enjoyable new gameplay mechanics.
I am Bread is an odd indie game that will have you manipulating your environment to light your world on fire. Well designed levels and a subtle but entertaining story round out a worthwhile physics game.
