7.5 / 10.0 - Lego Worlds

Overall, it may be a pain to have to collect each type of brick that you want to use, but you’ll learn things. I do like this game, and I’m not big on open sandboxes. Or, perhaps I like it because of that.

9 / 10.0 - Persona 5
Mar 29, 2017

Weighing in at over 100 hours of gameplay, Persona 5 is one that you will want to spend time with. Brilliant voice work, a decent translation and solid gameplay mechanics make this one of the best RPGs I’ve played in a long time.

Criminal Past is a great finale for Mankind Divided, and only makes the desire for more Deus Ex stronger. The ending is pretty open, and with faces new and old it does a great job of giving us something different while being faithful to the franchise.

Fans of the franchise should pick this up, if they’re eager to see what Kingdom Hearts III will have in store, although newcomers would do better to pick one of the previous HD remakes.

This might be worth more or less for your money due to the extra content of Wild Run, depending on whether you already had the that DLC pack. Calling All Units doesn’t really have enough to warrant the full price, so you might want to wait unless you’re after Wild Run too.

You would never know that this is the first game from Billy Goat Entertainment, from how well polished and written it is. Very funny and filled with pop culture references, it makes you hopeful for the post-Brexit future.

If you like getting an hour per monetary unit, then you definitely get that in Orwell. The campaign is as long as Titanfall 2, and it has a heck of a lot more gameplay to it than BATMAN the Telltale Series, both of which cost more and are written just as well.

Bad frame rate issues and basically no gameplay are elevated by an excellent story.

The formulaic plot, and some immersion-breaking moments don’t take away too much from this being quite a fun adventure, with a ton to do and return to. Plus you can unlock pointy-boobs Lara from Tomb Raider.

Its short length and literally only one new obstacle added means that, although it’s just as fun as the main title, it’s lacking the qualities to be an amazing DLC.

Tons of fetch quests, far too much time spent away from the theme park, and forcing the role playing out of RPG, it’s still a fun addition - if you don’t mind playing it evil.

A great addition to the Deus Ex mythos, and more than just a better looking Human Revolution. If you're a fan of the series, or even just the last one, then you can't go wrong with Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

Unless you’ve already paid for it, don’t go seeking it out. A very underwhelming ending to the eDEN DLC trilogy.

It’s a very solid RPG that will likely appeal to fans of the series more than anything, but it certainly does appeal.

If you’re looking for a pretty challenging fighting game, with lots of missions lasting less than ten minutes each, then you’ll probably get a kick out of this.

It’s really fun and challenging, but unfortunately, due to the crazy loading times -- and the fact I know the graphics could be better -- I have to give it the score it deserves, rather than the score I want to give it.

Life Goes On: Done to Death is a fun puzzle title that will tax you, and let you blow off steam by murdering hundreds (thousands) of knights.

In all, I’m happy with the DLC, just annoyed that it is so short. It’s fun to use the mechs and it’s interesting to learn more about Medici’s past for a lore hound like me.

It’s fun and frantic, and has plenty of replayability. It just happens to sound poor and look dated.

Ultimately 1979 Revolution: Black Friday is much more of an interactive story than a game. It just so happens to be a story which is so well written and performed, that it will make you wonder about yourself as a person.
