I'm not sure what else can be said about Resident Evil 2. It's a damn near flawless remake and a damn near flawless video game. It's scary, engaging, addictive and a whole lot of fun. If you want to start your gaming year off right, play Resident Evil 2. It's my favourite game of all time and might be the best one ever made.
It's definitely a great game and playing it on Switch is certainly the way it was always meant to be played
It’s not flawless, but it’s a damn good time that only asks that you ‘Git Gud.’
Pokémon Let’s GO is a modernised version of the original Pokémon we know and love.
Astro Bot Rescue Mission is one of the best platformers I’ve played this year and is easily the best PSVR game you can get today.
Whether playing with kids or friends, Chimparty is a definite winner and a great addition to PlayLink.
What Toys for Bob has done with these three games is incredible. The visuals are amazing and really look like a Saturday morning cartoon come to life.
The Gardens Between is a stunningly beautiful look at friendships through the lens of video games, once again showing that video games are an artform.
It’s definitely a game for fans, but there’s enough in there for newbies, like me, to learn. In spite of the near-vertical learning curve, I found myself coming back time and time again, just because the gameplay is so good.
The spirit of Super Mario Party is in the playing, not the winning. In that regard, Super Mario Party is a definite good time
Assassin's Creed Odyssey is, without doubt, the best this series has ever produced.
Forza Horizon 4 is a deep, engaging, complex and nearly perfect racing game.
Easily the best VR shooter available Firewall Zero Hour does so much right that it’s easy to forgive the shortcomings.
There are plenty of great moments to be had and the racing, at times, is first class. After such a long break it’s great to have V-Rally back. Hopefully we don’t have to wait as long for the next one.
We Happy Few is a bad indie game masquerading as an AAA title. It’s not worth your time, nor your money. Avoid at all costs.
If you’re looking for something to play that neither requires much critical thinking nor an emotional investment, Strange Brigade is for you.
Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is decent, but it’s a case of been there, done that. Only fans need apply
f you’ve played it on other platforms, you may not be ready to play through it all again. But if it’s been a few years then you might be ready to have another go. If you are, playing on the Switch gives you the benefit of the best control scheme and portability.
Warhammer 40K Inquisitor Martyr is by no means a bad game, it's just a little misguided in its execution. There's just a bit too much noise for the best bits if the game to truly stand out.
It stands on its own as an excellent addition to the genre while also bringing flavours of its own.
