Biagio Etna
A bright and unpretentious fighting game, who pays the duty for his ambitions of immediacy, finishing up being rather insipid.

Past Cure is a mixture of good intentions: unfortunately, it ends up putting too much flesh on the fire, and attempting to keep together various playful and narrative elements, it fails to deepen anyone. The result is a dull, tedious experience, with unjustified difficulty peaks and terribly long, boring sections.

Under Night In-Birth Exe Night: Late[st] is a fighting game based on a solid gameplay and able to offer a great challenge. Despite the fact that it provides a good support to newcomers, the game only offers its best if you can fully master the intense and excited rhythms of the combat system. 2D graphic and the typical Japanese character design are an added value or a minor flaw, depending on your taste. In any case, we're facing a carefully, crafted game, which certainly deserves a chance if you're a fan of the genre.

Iconoclasts is yet another proof of how independent software is taking up an increasingly important part of the gaming market. Made with an almost palpable devotion, Sandberg's game manages to stand out for its unexpectedly mature narrative and superb level design. A few too cryptic puzzles and the massive amount of text could frighten users looking for a "pure" metroidvania. This doesn't affect the personality of Iconoclasts, which reveals itself to be a truly, great game.

Difficult to remain neutral in front of Dragon Ball FighterZ: if on the one hand we have a magnificent and stunning transposition of the anime - technically and artistically really out of parameter - on the other hand we see some unbalances in the roster and a gameplay very difficult to master. This does not deny the title a place of excellence in the beat-em-up Olympus, as well as an unmissable opportunity for all Dragon Ball fans.

Mario Party: The Top 100 is a game made with great diligence. Its party game nature, however, fails to take off and express itself fully, especially if you've played a lot of the mini-games re-proposed. Although it's a sort of mecum vate of the Nintendo saga, the game is very derived and essential, slipping too soon into oblivion.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 doesn't disappoint expectations: endowed with a massive longevity, characterized by a living and fascinating world and conducted on the wings of a narration with fabulous, exciting tones, the latest born in Monolith Soft house is an unmissable JRPG. Etrian Odyssey V is a remarkable return to the origins of the saga: a complete, finished, and extremely long-lasting game. Developers have blunted many of the gameplay elements, setting aside each side activity and minimizing narration. The reversal of the medal of this operation is in the mighty sense of having already seen it assaulting old-time fans.

The Evil Within 2 is definitely one step ahead of its predecessor: a rich, deep and long-lived horror survival. The level of difficulty has been considerably softened. If this makes the title more accessible, on the other hand, he denies that authoritative uniqueness of the title that inspired it.

Absolver presents itself as a very interesting hybrid: a fighting game inserted in an online context and a decadent, fascinating open world. Unfortunately, several lag problems undermine overall quality: patches are coming out to solve the problem, but the feeling of being in front of a still "rough" code is always very strong.

Featuring an undeniable retro charm, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana certainly doesn't stand out for the graphics. On the other hand, the gamplay is fun, frenetic and framed by a pleasing and multifaceted narrative. A title strongly recommended to old-school RPG action estimates.
