7 / 10.0 - Warsaw
Oct 4, 2019

A fascinating historic backdrop, an original artistic direction, a compelling gameplay structure, but only one, inexorable difficulty level which often seems more unfair than faithful.

8.2 / 10.0 - F1 2019
Jun 21, 2019

F1 2019 adds the FIA Formula 2 race cars and some minor improvements to the celebrated formula of its official racer, plus the epic rivalry between Senna and Prost in the Legends Edition of the game. An episode which is more about new contents than structural changes. And that is okay.

8.5 / 10.0 - MotoGP 19
Jun 6, 2019

A great motorcycle racing game, the best one since a while. Not (yet?) strictly simulative, especially with regard to motorbike collisions and contacts, it features definitely satisfying physics and - surprise! - a new cutting-edge neural A.I. as well.

“Go with the flow” could be the motto of Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 2, a superb simulation of the AMA Supercross Championships (250SX and 450SX). Great race physics and graphics, lots of official contents and customizations, but unpolished general presentation and hideous loading times, just like in the previous chapter.

8 / 10.0 - Ride 3
Nov 29, 2018

Ride 3 greatly benefits from the introduction of the Unreal Engine 4 in terms of visuals and physics. It is still conceptually far from a rigorous simulation, though, as suggested by a huge Career mode structured to exalt collectors as well as motorbike enthusiasts through 230 models that feel adequately yet not exaggeratedly characterised in their different performances.

An original title with a split personality, half puzzle game and half walking simulator. Both parts are brilliantly developed, but their forced dichotomy breaks the rhythm of the game.

8.2 / 10.0 - MXGP Pro
Jun 29, 2018

After last year switch to Unreal Engine 4, MXGP keeps improving its physics and graphics. Now it is time to cut the long and boring loading times between the enjoyable motocross races.

The Ultimate Edition of the real driving simulation for console now offers 178 cars and 33 tracks on 16 circuits... but still no shortcuts for arcade drivers and casual players.

7.5 / 10.0 - Gravel
Feb 27, 2018

Milestone's Gravel rocks! A solid arcade driving game which features mainly off-road races with a convincing sense of speed and a good variety of competitions, vehicles and tracks. Too bad for the thin longevity of its campaign and the complete lack of alternative single-player modes, which greatly reduce Gravel's specific weight.

The first role-playing game that makes justice to its name by immersing you soul and body in a fantasy world that has never felt so real, though there are still so many technical steps ahead to go.

8.3 / 10.0 - Gran Turismo Sport
Oct 23, 2017

With GT Sports, the Gran Turismo series steers towards eSports and accelerates its transition to multiplayer online gameplay only. The solidity of its racing rules & regulations and gaming netcode will be fundamental for its success.

8.8 / 10.0 - Forza Motorsport 7
Oct 2, 2017

Not so different from the previous episode, but yet the best, biggest and most versatile Forza Motorsport ever, plus the first available on Xbox One X as well.

7.1 / 10.0 - MotoGP 17
Jun 21, 2017

After the 2016 surprisingly versatile and breezy Valentino Rossi: The Game, the series returns to rest on its laurels, offering the usual officially licensed contents, the traditional online and offline modes, plus a new yet slow Management Career powered by the efficient yet ancient proprietary graphic engine. No Rossi, no party.

Switching to Unreal Engine 4, MXGP improves its physics in relation with the always-changing track morphology, while graphics looks too muddy even for a motocross game. Enjoyable yet improvable.

8.1 / 10.0 - DiRT 4
Jun 6, 2017

The innovative and tight simulation of the latest DiRT: Rally renews the traditional and relaxed arcade mood of the long-established DiRT series in a game that successfully blends the two approaches. DiRT 4 is no revolution, just an excellent recap.

9.1 / 10.0 - Prey
May 6, 2017

Prey means deep space, and deep gameplay. A huge space station hides thousands of game mechanics and dynamics ready to be explored by the solitary player. Its warfare is not infinite nor predestined, but makes part of a bigger picture, a bigger game, where gameplay means much more than gunplay.
