Critic Reviews for Assetto Corsa: Ultimate Edition
Assetto Corsa is a good example of ambition because the Kunos Simulazioni studio is not a huge studio, but at the same time it has been working hard to produce a simulation game to rival the existing simulation games. But at the same time failed to deliver the expected or required experience to climb high rankings in the list of simulation games that exist.

The Ultimate Edition of the real driving simulation for console now offers 178 cars and 33 tracks on 16 circuits... but still no shortcuts for arcade drivers and casual players.

It's the racing game equivalent of Marmite - some will love it and some will hate it. I sit somewhere in the middle; I like it, but can't ignore its flaws.
Assetto Corsa: Ultimate Edition is an impressive display of technology. With a powerful graphical engine, the large assortment of vehicles sitting at the 178 figure provides plenty of racing variation. With each car feeling very different to each other, patience and paying attention to every little turn, while seeing how the car handles, is the ultimate decider between winning or losing a race. Unlike other racing titles, which have a low barrier-to-entry for newcomers for their more general sense of play, Assetto Corsa is made by professionals, for professionals who truly appreciate the display of the vehicles, while paying great respect to the tracks and the challenge ahead.
Assetto Corsa: Ultimate Edition is not try to be gran turismo or forza and this "uniqueness" is what we love so much about this game. Gameplay elements are very close to reality and challenge the player very well. In fact we must say that Assetto Corsa: Ultimate Edition is a hardcore game for racing lovers and it has his own personality as a High quality racing simulatur. Assetto Corsa: Ultimate Edition has seen a Good progress and improvements Compared to the original game and it has every elements such as deep customization, to satisfy racing fans, in it's own way

Assetto Corsa Ultimate Edition is far from perfect, but it’s a great addition to the list of racing simulations, with the feeling of real racing as its best asset.
In a world with Project Cars 2, Dirt Rally, Forza and Gran Turismo, Assetto simply doesn't offer an engrossing or polished enough package to compete. There's more content, better graphics, more vibrant online communities and more fun to be had elsewhere.
