Despite the different setting, interesting environmental puzzles and the creative party-splitting mechanic, Haunted Dungeons: Hyakki Castle fails in several basic aspects, with repetitive and tedious combat, weak story and a total inability to keep you interested in the game.

80 / 100 - Phantom Doctrine
Aug 15, 2018

Given its setting, the high complexity of its systems and the quality in which they are implemented, Phantom Doctrine is a great game. Even with some minor issues in the narrative, the excessive grind and very slow loadings, the game absorbs and challenges you in the right amount.

70 / 100 - The Lost Child
Jul 13, 2018

The Lost Child is a good game that, even without anything special, should please both fans of the genre and act like a gateway for curious players. The story deserves special praise for being about a theme not commonly addressed in videogames and for doing it so well, but there are other problems that hold it back from reaching the level of its inspirations.

75 / 100 - Rainbow Skies
Jun 27, 2018

Rainbow Skies is not only a worthy sequel, but it does what it should, being a better game in everything. Even being repetitive, with some parts of the story that seem to exist just to increase its length and the lack of creativity in mission and dungeon design limiting its success, we still have a very good game here.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory is a good turn-based RPG with an interesting story and charismatic characters that should make fans of the series happy, but it doesn't bring anything new to the table, suffers from some of the problems of its predecessor and feels tiresome for those who have played the first game, due to the excess of reused assets.
