8 / 10.0 - Arcadeggedon
Jul 7, 2022

Arcadegeddin is a fun and engaging roguelite/shooter. Be aware that there are still a bunch of minor bugs and glitches despite a long Early Access period, but hopefully the devs will fix them soon.

8.2 / 10.0 - F1 22
Jun 27, 2022

F1 22 manages to improve on last year's game by evolving its driving model based on the new Formula 1 regulations. Unfortunately this happened to the detriment of the amount of content present in this iteration. Right now we have a foot in the new era, but the other is still in the past.

Plagued with technical issues partially resolved patch after patch, Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate Daemonhunters has also problems in terms of balancing and AI. The boss fights are well done, but it's also a little monotonous as you find yourself playing the same dull couple of missions from the start to the very end of the game.

Obviously, the PS5 version of Crusader Kings 3 isn't the best way to experience Paradox's medieval grand strategy. However, despite its poor interface and the lack of support for mouse and keyboard, this is still one of the best games of its genre.

8.2 / 10.0 - Grand Theft Auto V
Mar 21, 2022

After almost ten years, Grand Theft Auto V begins to show its age. It's a remarkable video game though, but three new visual modes can't hide the fact that some of its game systems are beginning to feel antiquated. Still, this next-gen version is obviously the best way to play GTA 5 and GTA Online.

Dawn of Ragnarok is a bit shallow and nothing more of a "more of the same". Still a decent content for the Assassin's Creed Valhalla fans, but it could have been much more.

The Witch Queen is a great expansion that puts Destiny 2 on the right track after the partial misstep of Beyond Light. There's a lot of content here, even though some activities are blocked behind the season pass paywall.

Warhammer 3 is hands down the best Total War ever made. Despite some issues, some of them concerning diplomacy, the many new features and factions largely offset the problems of the game.

8.5 / 10.0 - Expeditions: Rome
Jan 18, 2022

Don't be fooled by its raw presentation, and don't let yourself be discouraged by a poorly made dubbing: Expeditions Rome is a video game that treats us with a first-rate role-playing experience. In a nutshell, if you love tactical RPGs you can't miss Logic Artists' latest creation.

Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX is mainly aimed at the fans of the franchise. Don't expect a remaster, though: the only difference with the originals is the new monster generating system, now based on an in-game database.

9.5 / 10.0 - Halo Infinite

8.7 / 10.0 - The Riftbreaker
Oct 19, 2021

The Riftbreaker will throw you on an alien planet both lush and unforgiving, in what could be the perfect mix between a survival RTS and an action/shooter game.

5.8 / 10.0 - JETT: The Far Shore
Oct 4, 2021

JETT: The Far Shore has so much potential wasted due to its abysmal gameplay, the same gameplay that hinders the overall experience and undermines what good has been done on the artistic and narrative sides of the game.

Sable is a fascinating coming of age videogame with an incredible art direction inspired by the works of the late Jean Giraud.

7 / 10.0 - King's Bounty II

King's Bounty II is a decent turn-based RPG, but it's also one of the most derivative games out there.

7.7 / 10.0 - Humankind
Aug 16, 2021

Sadly, Humankind isn't Amplitude Studios' magnum opus. Its interesting concept of civilization mix-matching is constantly let down by an uncompetitive AI and all sort of balancing issues.

8.4 / 10.0 - The Ascent
Jul 29, 2021

The Ascent is a fast-paced twin-stick shooter immersed in an impeccably designed cyberpunk world, yet its plot fails to fully take advantage of this wonderful setting. Luckily, the shooting mechanics are quite satisfying, while the many different character customization options guarantee a fair range of approaches to the shootouts. There are also a bunch of technical issues that can be easily circumvented, but are still annoying.

Jul 28, 2021

Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector is a solid turn-based tactical game, but also quite generic. That's because the developers did almost nothing to differentiate their game from other titles in the same genre. Recommended if you're a WH40K enthusiast, but demanding turn-based tactics fans might want to look somewhere else.
