Alliance War is a well thought out expansion that fits very well into the solid established gameplay of The Elder Scrolls: Legends.

It doesn't really introduce anything new to the genre, yet Warhammer: Chaosbane is a nice hack & slash ARPG with a deep and engaging endgame.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood could be wrongly categorized as a "more of the same", but the many new features make it an indispensable title for fans of the series, even if these new mechanics aren't always without flaws.

GreedFall is a charming RPG with a beautiful setting and an engaging plot. It's a bit rough on the edges, but it represents the pinnacle of Spiders' productions so far, even if there's still room for improvement.

Conglomerate 451 manages to mix the highest traditions of the dungeon crawler genre with the gameplay mechanics one would expect from any modern video game. There are some flaws here and there, especially concerning the procedural generation of the missions, but they are counterbalanced by the high variety of the enemy types and the deep customization system of the agents.

Gears Tactics is not only a pretty good turn-based tactical game, but it also manages to keep the typical feeling of the Gears of War series unchanged.

Railway Empire is already a well crafted railway management game, however this Complete Collection brings all the additional content in a single package.

Crysis Remastered lives up to its name by putting even the most modern and performing hardware under pressure. All in all, the graphical makeover is pretty competent, despite some smudges here and there.

Overall, the work carried out by Stellar Entertainment and Criterion is good but with several flaws. While many parts of the game got a visual upgrade, some of them remained incomprehensibly unchanged. Nonetheless, Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered is still an excellent arcade racing video game, even after ten years from the launch of the original game.

A New God attempts to capitalize on immortals fenyx rising's excellent ordeal by proposing an expansion almost entirely focused on dungeons and solving puzzles. Set in the frame of Olympus, as colorful as it is inspired, this puzzle series consists of about twenty trials that can put players' skills under pressure, offering a higher level of challenge than we saw in the main adventure. Too bad for the absence of variety due precisely to the desire to focus only on the puzzles, which thus become at the same time cross and delight of this DLC.

Main Assembly offers many powerful tools to the most creative users with which to indulge themselves in building robots, as long as they have the patience to learn how the game works through a good dose of "trial & error" given the meager tutorial.

Evil Genius 2: World Domination is a competent sequel, even if it remains inferior in several respects to its direct predecessor. The gameplay formula has been modernized, but some features that made the first chapter a cult classic have been inexplicably removed. A shame because otherwise we would have had a real masterpiece in our hands, but several shortcomings and smudges make it "only" a good video game.

Wrath of the Druids is in fact a "more of the same" expansion, but it can count on a much more compact map than the one of AC Valhalla. This has benefited the storytelling and the pace of the game, although the new mechanics introduced in this DLC are rather marginal.

Storm Ground hits the mark by making the most of Warhammer Age of Sigmar's license. The roguelite structure of the game might seem a bit bland, but the gameplay loop is solid despite the mission objective tending to be quite repetitive.

The Witch Queen is a great expansion that puts Destiny 2 on the right track after the partial misstep of Beyond Light. There's a lot of content here, even though some activities are blocked behind the season pass paywall.

Obviously, the PS5 version of Crusader Kings 3 isn't the best way to experience Paradox's medieval grand strategy. However, despite its poor interface and the lack of support for mouse and keyboard, this is still one of the best games of its genre.

Arcadegeddin is a fun and engaging roguelite/shooter. Be aware that there are still a bunch of minor bugs and glitches despite a long Early Access period, but hopefully the devs will fix them soon.

Gotham Knights has a lot of small issues, but the game works and it offers one of the best depictions of the Bat-family outside of comics.

Swamps of Corsus is an excellent excuse to keep exploring the fascinating universe of Remnant: From the Ashes. The new marsh area is quite elaborate, while the additional enemies are well thought out. What is less convincing, however, is the Survival mode. In this case too the new mode is certainly welcome, but being completely disconnected from the campaign, it does not make much sense within the overall experience, and that's because the cosmetic rewards are almost negligible.
