The mixture of farming simulator and life simulator elements work really well. Much like real life, tasks aren’t always quick to complete and can be quite time-consuming, but that’s what makes Farmer’s Dynasty feel so realistic; it’s all about putting the hard time in to reap the rewards. The lack of customisation options, terrible voice acting and casual sexism do mar the experience, but there’s still fun to be found in starting with nothing and working hard to build your farming empire.
It might be fast, but Antigraviator never really leaves second gear.
Hard-hitting tackles, tense build-up play and tactical tweaks make Rugby 20 a must-play for any fan, as long as they’re willing to overlook its shortcomings.
Due to its extensive range of options and the amount of challenge provided, the highs that can be achieved from being successful in Football Manager 2020 Touch are that much greater than last year’s iteration.
Cricket 19 is by far the best cricket game available right now. There’s enough about it to keep cricket newbies entertained while its high level of authenticity will no doubt delight die-hard cricket fans. Even England’s Barmy Army, however, would get quickly tired of the loading times, and may notice the small imperfections to the matchday experiences. Despite this, Cricket 19 is a solid boundary, with the career mode hitting nothing but sixes.
Despite some unforgivable frustrations created through some of the quests though, the overall experience of Dragon Quest Builders 2 is very gratifying.
Deponia may well be set in a rubbish heap, but it’s a game that’ll never end up there. With lovably odd characters, a fantastic art design, and a really engaging style of gameplay, Deponia shows what a modern point and click game should be. Despite a steep incline in difficulty that may catch a few players off guard, Deponia’s highlight is its character design and writing, and you can expect to be entertained throughout.
If you’re a fan of snooker, then Snooker 19 is a must have. Its realism, range of players and arenas make it the Fifa of snooker games. But the lack of depth and repetitive career mode means that Snooker 19 pots the white ball just after the black. Casual players may not find much longevity, but snooker fans will enjoy it nevertheless.
Despite its lack of challenge, Neo Atlas 1469 offers up a unique and enjoyable experience.
Despite the great story premise, and a fun choice of character with Lore, the pages just feel a little empty to this book.
With historical planes galore, Warplanes: WW2 Dogfight is an easy pick-up-and-play game that’s hard to put down.
There’s a lot to the adventuring component, and the challenges are fun. Don’t expect much hand-holding, but expect the challenge to be enjoyable and tense.
Trouserheart is a great pick-up-and-play game for children who are new to gaming.
Football Manager 2019 Touch brings everything fans of the series love to the Nintendo Switch.
Cooking is the dish of the day in Battle Chef Brigade, and it's delivered in a very engaging way. Hunting for the perfect creature and ingredients is addictive, and the judge's verdict always fills me with nerves. Despite a story that could have been better, and perhaps a bit more guidance in the early rounds, Battle Chef Brigade Deluxe's absolutely gorgeous hand-drawn style erases most of those problems.
Cosmic Picnic has developed a really unique and addictive arcade style planet explorer, and it's quite frankly impossible to say "adios" to playing ADIOS Amigos.
Life is Strange 2: Episode 1 – Roads is a strong introduction to Sean and Daniel's characters and story.

For its price, CastleStorm is a gem, and a very noble addition to the Switch's library indeed.
A great visual style makes Pato Box stand out from the crowd, as does the duck/boxer protagonist. If you're up for a challenge, with a game that requires you to master the rhythm of each boss fight, then Pato Box will be a champion for you.
