I came, I crushed, I conquered. That's Mortal Kombat 11 in a nutshell. Highly recommended for newcomers and long time fans both.

70% - Vaporum
Apr 26, 2019

Vaporum is slightly undermined by its weaker console port, but just very slightly. Even on consoles, it still offers a solid dungeon crawling experience.

Bandai Namco Entertainment sadly continues the trend and publishes another unfinished, low-budget title to make some quick money. Simply put, One Piece World Seeker is needlesly frustrating.

Left Alive is one of those titles that feels like its genre is going through a slump. Whatever the creators have been trying to create, the result is just a weak attempt to satisfy the fans of the tactical stealth action genre. This Front Mission spin-off will disappoint almost everyone.

50% - Anthem
Mar 5, 2019

Anthem is yet another half-baked looter shooter. However, it's just at the beginning of its lifecycle and Its future success is only up to the developers. If you're a diehard Bioware fan, you shouldn't expect anything like their previous titles. Otherwise, you'll be even more disappointed.

No matter how you look at Crackdown 3, you'll only see a generic title that doesn't even have the slightest chance of succeeding. In the era of the great open world titles like Grand Theft Auto V or Saints Row, it really won't stand a chance.

Behind the thick wall of frustration is hidden one of the most fluid battle systems of the current generation, however not even forty manga warriors were able to break through it. Jump Force should have been a pleasant tribute to the fighting genre, sadly in the end it loses on nearly every front.

Feudal Alloy is an unique game created only by two indie developers. The game is certainly not flawless, but we're still talking about a very good Metroidvania, which you'll doubtlessly enjoy. This robotic adventure is at times so enjoyable, that you'll even overlook some of its obvious problems.

No, this isn't another Final Fantasy nor a new episode of Kingdom Hearts. Although we are not talking about some masterpiece, Tales of Vesperia is still a great japanese RPG, which gets more enjoyable the more you play. At the very end, you'll feel a great feeling that you've just experienced an unique adventure.

Just Cause 4 is not an ideal sequel and certainly not the best of its genre. Many of the shortcomings will presumably be fixed in some time, but at the moment you may not get the experience you're hoping for.

In the case of Asterix & Obelix XXL 2, the ravages of time are definitely noticeable, but they certainly weren't as cruel to the famous Gallic fighters as they were to other similarly styled titles. XXL 2 can still entertain even now and it can be enjoyed not only by the nostalgics, but also the younger players.

Ladies and gentlemen, it's true after all. Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the best open world titles of current generation. And if you come around to the way how the story is told, then you'll experience one of the most emotional narratives in history of video games. However, was anyone expecting anything else?

Overkill's The Walking Dead fortunately isn't the second coming of TWD: Survival Instinct, but in its current form, it's miles away from being a high-quality cooperative action nonetheless.

Very vulgar humor and for younger players, archaic gameplay as well. That's Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry. If those two things don't scare you, then you can try this modern entry in this old and well-known game series. Everyone else should rather avoid it.

Warriors Orochi 4 is probably the biggest hack and slash game ever made. Even though its gameplay is pretty straightforward, you can certainly find fun in it.

80% - NBA 2K19
Oct 7, 2018

Microtransactions certainly won't please anyone, but if you can ignore them, NBA 2K19 offers an excellent basketball simulation, which EA couldn't surpass not even this year.

Fans of original manga and newcomers to this series both will enjoy Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise. The very first hours can be really frustrating, but you'll be offered some rather enjoyable fighting gameplay afterwards. However, the much more popular Yakuza is still better and wasn't dethroned yet.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 represents the best of its genre. Sega innovates well-known aspects with new, interesting mechanics and combined with the emotional story, it creates an unique video game war like never before.

Naruto fans will probably appreciate the fact that they'll find themselves in their favorite universe again. Otherwise, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is simply a bit underwhelming. Although it's certainly not bad, it had much more potential.
