Assassin's Creed Shadows is more than just another installment in a long-running saga. This time Ubisoft has done too many things right to earn with its Japanese anabasis at least a chance to prove that the brand doesn't belong in the old iron.

Split Fiction offers the essence of pure gameplay with a lot of original ideas. Alas, it's a shame that the whole game is wrapped up in a not very interesting story. The constant alternation between sci-fi and fantasy worlds is equally inventive, but at the same time a bit tiresome.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is sequel of one of the best superhero videogames. However, it deserved better start on PC than it really had. Its port was made in such a hurry, and it is not very well tuned, but developers try to fix it. Fortunately, these problems did not influence high quality of this title.

Despite the lack of heavy RPG elements, Final Fantasy XVI is a fine enough addition to the series. In the future, however, Square Enix should focus even more on making sure that its computer ports can be enjoyed by as many people as possible.
