Watch Dogs: Legion is for the most part similar experience to Watch Dogs 2, just refreshed with some new mechanics. The main novelty - building your team, is two-sided. It bringis new mechanics and challenges, but the story loses pull of a strong protagonist(s). What the title does extremely well is the setting. A living and breathing city with a strong atmosphere keeping true to its real life counterpart.

Ghost of Tsushima is a great openworld game along the lines of the third Witcher elements taken from other games sprinkled in as well. Theoretically, it does nothing new and unseen. But everthing the game does it doex extremely well. And most importantly presents it drenched in atmosphere of feudal Japan.

7 / 10 - Oninaki
Apr 27, 2020

Oninaki does impress with its cute visual presentation and very well done soundtrack. The core gameplay is a fun but repetitive combat system. The sory can keep you going through it, but its unbalanced pace can discourage many players. Oninaki, with its obvious flaws, is definitely not for everyone, but it surely can find its audience.

Even with some original content missing, mainly the few choices branching the story that would help with much needed replayability, Resident Evil 3 Remake still does capture some of the original game’s magic. For some this smaller amount of content can be offset by asymetric multiplayer Resistance. In no way it reaches heights of last year's Resident Evil 2 Remaster.

9 / 10 - Nioh 2
Mar 15, 2020

Nioh 2 nicely builds on the groundwork laid by the first game. The original mechanics were refined and new ones add further depth and options that enrich the combat system and take the risk-reward system one step further.

10 / 10 - Dreams
Mar 12, 2020

Dreams brings together a set of tools for all creators regardless of their particular discipline. It is also a library of lessons teaching you how to work with these tools. Thanks to thematic jams it motivates you to create and gives you space to share your creations and collaborate with others. This has not been done before and Media Molecule truly deserves the perfect score, because Dreams in not only entertainment - it also gives the opportunity for more entertainment to be created.

Everything that Ghost Recon: Breakpoint does well, has already been done well in the Wildlands, or is a new feature with a big "but". Apart from a nicely crafted fictional world with a stronger story and a simple survival, Breakpoint doesn't innovate much. If you really enjoyed Wildlands, explored it through-and-through and want more of that - Breakpoint is a possible recommendation. Otherwise, you won't lose much if you skip this one.

6 / 10 - Erica
Oct 2, 2019

Even with annoying faults like duplicate choices I quite enjoyed my time going through this interactive thriller. Great cinematography and acting more than makes up for a cliché story and setting. But for a game that focuses on player choice I find the inability to view the choice tree or even custom save very limiting. It's fine for casual walkthroughs but completionist play is unnecessarily tedious.

Wolfenstein: Cyerpilot in pretty much every way feels like a tech demo you probably tried when VR headsets were a novelty. Since then luckily VR gaming has made great strides and this kind of short and shallow game just doesn't cut it.

Octopath Traveler brings together the best from classic JRPGs and modern visual style. Well written characters and stories, diverse world, thrilling turn-based combat and a great soundtrack make this lovely title that pays tribute to it's inspirations. Only weaker interaction between party members leave something to be desired.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood is not a bad game. It undeniably is a Wolfenstein from Machine Games and Arkane Studios so it does hit the AAA qualities in terms of gameplay and leveldesign. It surely isn't a good game though with new semi-open world and RPG mechanics clashing against each other and a weak story padded wih repetetive fodder. You might want to grab this one if you are after an OK mindless shooter for coop nazi killing. If you are looking for a Wolfenstein title to play solo, feel free to skip this one.

Fade to Silence's world atmosphere, survival mechanics, exploration and camp building are good and I thoroughly enjoyed them for the first few hours. The core gameplay loop though, is not enough to make a complete game and feels more like side content. With permadeath being a simple restart of the exact world with just a few perks Fade to Silence didn't grip me for more than couple runs.

7 / 10 - Blood & Truth
Jun 5, 2019

It seems to me that Blood & Truth, in some aspects, has backed away from the London Heist. Certainly I can't get rid of the impression that it's still a tech demo and not a full-fledged title. Because of all the shortcomings and the feeling that the title is pretty unfinished overall, we can't rank Blood & Truth for more. But if you can get over that, you will have a blast.

8 / 10 - Days Gone
Apr 24, 2019

Days Gone may not be the most original and innovative title, but it's still a very solid open-world story adventure that won't give you anything for free. For about thirty hours of gameplay I was genuinely entertained.

The announcement that From Software does not intend to continue the Dark Souls series has sparked a great wave of questions as how much they want to divert from own blueprint. We do know the answer now: a lot. But this is only a good thing, because Sekiro is a really fresh experience that brings a lot of innovation. In addition, Activision, as a publisher, has provided greater accessibility to newcomers. But despite these changes, the From Software manuscript cannot be overlooked at every turn.

7 / 10 - Déraciné
Mar 27, 2019

From Software developers have jumped into the waters of virtual reality and performed a very epic work that you may like to play repeatedly, but it does not fully use all the possibilities of VR and suffer minor technical flaws.
