Everything that is best about MeteoHeroes Saving Planet Earth! is inherited from the original animation, and even then the theme, characters, and artwork are poorly transported into the game world. There is an occasional glimpse of gameplay that gives hope, but any goodwill is squashed by a simplistic product and falls short of even the best intentions to enjoy it.

30 / 100 - emoji Kart Racer
Jan 26, 2023

At its best, emoji Kart Racer is just a generic, repetitive, and tiresome more-of-the-same game. The lack of features or modes, uninspiring customization, simplified physics, unstable tracks, boring races, and especially the lack of creativity, however, make it even worse than any other game of its kind currently on the market.

35 / 100 - Nuclear Corps
Jan 28, 2022

Nuclear Corps: Veterans in Fukushima is a puzzle game with some good intentions, but unfortunately it fails in almost all of them. The homage to a real event ends up hidden underneath a simplistic puzzle design, lack of objectives and a confusion of identity that results in a raw, dull and totally forgettable game.

35 / 100 - Dawn of Fear
Mar 5, 2020

Dawn of Fear is a poorly executed collection of good nostalgic inspirations. With fickle artistic and technical aspects and garbled gameplay, the game still suffers from technical problems and wrong level design choices that unfortunately flunk its good ideas.

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria is, at best, a mediocre base-building and environmental exploration game, but most of the time it does everything worse when compared to other similar works. Add in the disappointing combat experience, a forgettable story, and a lackluster aesthetic, and there's something here that's bad as a game, even worse as part of a universe as incredible as the one created by Tolkien.

Avatar The Last Airbender: Quest for Balance is a jumble of shallow ideas implemented in a simple-minded and clumsy way. The narrative and visuals make little use of the rich base material, exploration is bland, and the combat system is an insult. On average, a big disappointment.

As much as a pretended nostalgia for the action movies of the 1990s can make us overlook many of Crime Boss: Rockay City's flaws, it is inevitable to conclude that this is a game that failed in all its objectives, even to make us laugh.

DreamWorks Trolls Remix Rescue is a collection of generic and uninspired solutions that tries to sustain itself by the charisma of a franchise much loved by children. It fails narratively, aesthetically, and, especially, in the fun factor by not being able to justify itself, even when it works.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum manages to appropriate the best features of one of the best and most complex characters created within an unquestioned mythology, but a limited aesthetic representation of the world surrounding it and sloppy movement systems prevent the the game from being as precious as it should be.

Rivalia: Dungeon Raiders gathers ideas already established in the market, but does little with any of them. Without standing out in any aspect, it is functional, it does the basic, but it never goes beyond that, and that is little, very little.

45 / 100 - Wukong
Dec 15, 2021

Wukong is colorful and visually charming, and it's certainly an appealing, especially child-friendly version of the universe of this classic Chinese legend. With some good ideas, it can be fun, but unfortunately it feels unfinished, presents a series of technical instabilities, lack of design cohesion and a complete narrative abstention.

The remaster of three of the most important games in video game history in Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition fails in almost everything that it proposes, even if you can ignore a few contextual merits. However, this definitive version is far from the respect it owes to the originals and, mainly, to the audience.

Mia and the Dragon Princess is cheesy as it should be and brings what is expected from a good FMV, with relevant choices, cartoonish performances and many unexpected consequences. However, it fails to offer an interaction without any inventiveness, in addition to serious continuity problems and, mainly, a script full of potential that never actually comes true, regardless of the chosen ending.

50 / 100 - In My Shadow
Feb 13, 2022

I really wish I'd been more involved with In My Shadow, but the great core concept isn't enough to sustain an uninvolved story and shaky artwork. While the puzzles themselves have their virtues, the platforming leaves something to be desired, resulting in a disconnected and incomplete set.

50 / 100 - Skater XL
Aug 6, 2020

Skater XL is undoubtedly a very robust experience in terms of gameplay and probably the most sophisticated of its kind. However, it suffers from the lack of content, objectives and certain elements, in addition to having serious level design problems in the few available scenarios, still having a very raw collision system and a below average audiovisual construction, even for an independent production.

55 / 100 - MythForce
Sep 30, 2023

MythForce had everything to please an entire generation that grew up falling in love with the peculiar aesthetic of the adventurous animations of the 1980s and 1990s, but unfortunately the inspirations were only in the concept. As soon as the game starts, it only presents us with a generic roguelite journey, simple-minded and devoid of any emotion.

55 / 100 - Little Orpheus
Sep 13, 2022

Little Orpheus turns out to be an ordinary and mediocre product in every aspect of what it proposes, even if the bad timing of its release is disregarded. With simple mechanics and an uninspired level design, it's tedious, sometimes funny, but most of the time it's just really weak.

55 / 100 - Recompile
Sep 12, 2021

Conceptually captivating, Recompile offers a solid narrative, with a unique and aesthetically well-presented setting. However, the gameplay fails in almost every aspect, with problems in combat mechanics, puzzle solving and platform progression, which undermine all qualities and overshadow the project's potential.

55 / 100 - Poison Control
Apr 28, 2021

There is no doubt that Poison Control came out of some good ideas, but unfortunately they result in a game that manages to be average (or worse) in all its aspects, and not even a promising story can hold back the production. In the end, it is strong colors, repetitive mechanics and that's it.

My Universe – Pet Clinic Cats & Dogs has good intentions and some great ideas for interaction, illness and pet care. But even being cute and casual enough for the target audience, it offers extremely repetitive actions and an evolution system that requires you to continue performing actions until the point of nausea. It has flawed mechanics, an aesthetic execution far below the platform and design choices that do not quite know the platform where they are.
