Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore is a great remaster for one of the greatest JRPG available on Wii U and a great way to experience it (In case you didn't have the chance of playing before), but the story still doesn't make much sense some times and some of the mechanics have been refined by ATLUS in other games of the genre.

The idea of a competitive Gundam game isn't bad, but after a few hours the game definitely starts to feel quite stale and sometimes the class system doesn't feel radically different from one Gundam to another

.hack//G.U. still a great RPG. Last Recode not only opens the franchise to a new group of players with a great package and also some extras that definitely fans can enjoy. Even if the enhancements aren't perfect, reminds everyone of some games that aren't as popular in this generation.

Where the Water Tastes Like Wine remind us of the power of oral tradition and how can shape our perception of life. Unfortunately some times these stories can feel like a chore, due to the way the game uses them as mechanics.

Minit is a curious concept that is well executed, even if the One-Minute mechanic might not be for everyone is a curious experiment that pays off in a lot of ways and definitely shouldn't work as well. For fans of the classic Zelda games, this one is worth checking out.

Phantom Doctrine takes an interesting approach to the tactical genre, not only tries to distance itself from XCOM, but shows some peculiar ideas related to espionage and counter-intelligence agents.

Sabotage first game not only is a love letter to the genre, but also one of the greatest games of the year. The Messenger is a tough but fair game that charms the players with the story and it's characters. Also tries to break new ground in the genre with some of the mechanics we found in the game.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is not only the best game of the new trilogy, but also one with the best characters. The setting of the game sound bonkers most of the time but is definitely a great experience even for someone that didn't enjoyed Rise of the Tomb Raider.

With a new cast and a whole new different setting, Life is Strange 2 starts small but hints to an adventure bigger than we ever imagined. Again Dontnod tries to tackle different topics like race and police brutality.

Even if can feel a little bit grindy, Assassin's Creed Odyssey keeps the great job “refreshing” the franchise. The game keeps the collectathon that's part of every Ubisoft game but the inclusion of characters Cassandra y Alexios gives enough variety to keep playing the campaign.

Even in 2020, Bayonetta is a wonderful Hack & Slash with a great balance of difficulty and gameplay. Although the cinematics can look a bit dated even in this remaster is a great thing to finally play the game on PS4 and Xbox One. Specially after the lackluster port of the game on PS3.

The Gardens Between is a great adventure about time and friendship. Even with it's simple mechanics, some puzzles will need all our attention to be easily solved. Unfortunately more often than not, the puzzles can feel repetitive and and not as fun as before.

After a great campaign, Spider-Man first DLC feels pretty underwhelming. Even if adds new challenges and the chance of getting every suit in the game (in case you couldn't get it on the main story), doesn't feel necessary as other story content you can find in single player games.

After the well received Just Cause 3, the sequel had some big shoes to fill. Unfortunately Just Cause 4 doesn't show us anything new and a lot of times feels more like a re-skinned version of its predecessor, more than a sequel on it's own.

Nidhogg 2 keeps the arcade element that make the first one so successful and includes some mechanics that improves the gameplay loop and makes it more strategic and a little more deep of what we thought.

Ultimate is a great fighting game that improves everything the Wii U version did right, but things like the way you unlock the characters can sometimes feels like a chore instead of a fun activity and that the adventure/classic mode losses its appeal once you unlock every character available.

Vane is one of those games that have a lot of great ideas but doesn't execute them in a very compelling way. The game has a beautiful art direction but doesn't take advantage of its own mechanics which at the end, make the game feel pretty underwhelming.

In its second episode, we delve deeper into the Díaz brothers backstory. We see more details regarding Daniel powers and finally makes the connection with The Adventures of Captain Spirit, the game doesn't need to improve its mechanics but keeps the story compelling and making us want more.

After years and years of waiting, Kingdom Hearts 3 deliver in it's promises... sort of. For the fans, the game will definitely leave them satisfied and wanting more, if you're new here I guess it's time to prepare for a game that leaves you more questions than answers.

By no means God Eater 3 is a bad game. Unfortunately after God Eater 2, the sequel can feel like more of the same and doesn't bring new ideas to the table. Also the game under uses some of their most interesting antagonists and in a way can definitely hurt the rhythm of the main story.
