Yomawari: Lost in the Dark starts great, has a superb atmosphere, nice character creation and a perfect soundtrack. It just isn't my game and I had to stop playing after a short while, which is why we don't give a score here.

I remember playing the beta of No Pineapple Left Behind. It was really weird and since then, the game hasn't changed at all. The game needs you to keep an eye on a lot of different factors to be successfull. However, in reality, coincidence is the only factor. The design of the game is horrible and overall, I just couldn't enjoy this experience.

This Miraculous videogame sounds like a great idea and does have a few cool things, like friendships with other characters and development of Ladybug and Cat Noir. There are so many bugs however and the levels are so boring that we really cannot recommend this game.

I love Orwell's story and see good components in the game, but I think a few more months of work would have been needed to let this game really shine.

In Flying Neko Delivery, you're doing your best to deliver parcels - but only if your broom works once in a while. Rarely have I encountered controls as frustrating as here.

All in all, I can say that Kamiwaza: Way of the Thief just aged really badly.

The idea behind Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories is pretty good, but it can't unfold its potential: On the one hand it's telling you that your choices matter, on the other hand it's just a linear game without any real consequences. It seems that even it's techniques are from the olden days, especially on the scripting part and the uninspired NPC who are still doing what they were doing before the world collapsed. Nonetheless, the design of the characters is great and the soundtrack is amazing, but none of these two things will help Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories to become a blockbuster.

50 / 100 - SYMMETRY
Mar 26, 2020

I had fun with Symmetry even with the controls making me furious. Somehow ... Symmetry plays like a part of something bigger, like a demo of a game that could turn out great. Somewhere, there has to be a big DLC that brings the actual content ... or not? It's nice for one playthrough, but I don't see a real reason to play Symmetry ever again.

This game is beautiful and sounds like a dream. The gameplay has been the absolute letdown for me.

52 / 100 - Dread Nautical
May 5, 2020

Dread Nautical could be a good game if it had ... more. Basically, more of everything. The tasks are exciting, like rescuing people or collect resources, but somehow, I still don't find much delight in it. That's mainly because I'm doing the same over and over again. It's missing variety and deepness, which is sad, because I see greatness in there which just doesn't find its bloom.

53 / 100 - EQQO
Mar 3, 2020

EQQO on Switch isn't a good experience. The narrator and soundtrack are great, but this kind of fascination is missing from the rest of the game. Controls aren't intuitive at all and many technical issues cause a lot of frustration. Thinking of EQQO, I'll remember two things: A great story and a lack of fun.

54 / 100 - Animal Shelter
Mar 13, 2023

In Animal Shelter Simulator, you run an animal shelter in which dog houses are not more than decoration. That's how a lot of potential remains unused here. The technical issues on PS4 are also persistent.

I had a lot of fun researching for the next big thing in Mars Horizon, but a lot less due to all the technical issues with the PS4 version.

Duru: About Mole Rats and Depression shares and important message and clearly shows how hard it is to navigate live with mental health issues. The title stumbles with its gameplay though: It's quite monotonous and simply not fun.

56 / 100 - Eastshade
Apr 20, 2021

Eastshade seems nice and relaxing at first glance. However, it only manages to be a bleak memory for me - because its world turns out to be surprisingly and disappointingly flat.

PAW Patrol Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay is a game with generic missions und generic levels - and there's not even a good story that keeps them together. What the game does is explaining a lot - but even for children, it does too much of that.

57 / 100 - Youtubers Life 2

You've got a lot of possibilities in Youtuber's Life 2 but real content and value is missing. Creating the videos seems like an mandatory side matter.

I liked the anime very much but the game hardly reminds me of the feeling and atmosphere of said anime. The battles are the highlight of the game but overall it belongs more into the Nintendo DS era than on the Nintendo Switch.

Lakeburg Legacies offers beautiful graphics and soundtrack, the gameplay cannot hold up though. After a few hours, gameplay becomes a mix of frustrating and boring.
