4 / 5.0 - Rollerdrome
Aug 19, 2022

Performance-wise, the game runs smoothly on PS5. The graphics are crisp, and I didn't encounter gameplay issues or frame rate dips. Overall, Rollerdrome is a well-rounded, incredibly fun, and immensely challenging but rewarding game. While the gameplay relies on being grindy and some of the narrative elements fall short, it still offers a highly enjoyable experience, especially for fans of action games.

Overall, Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg is an excellent remake of a great game. While some of the elements of the game don't carry over well for modern players, I still enjoyed my time with it as it excels at allowing players to spend time engrossed in its world through several engaging and relaxing elements in a way that only good retro JRPGs can. As such, if you're a fan of the atelier series or just good, relaxing RPG experiences then Atelier Marie Remake is for you.

8 / 10.0 - Genshin Impact
Oct 31, 2020

All in all, Genshin Impact is one of the best RPG titles to release this year. Unfortunately, a stingy gachapon system and nonsensical gameplay restrictions hold it back just a bit. If you can look past that, then you’ll likely have endless hours of fun to experience.

Regardless of the missing multiplayer, the collection is still arguably the best way to play these classics, especially if you own a high-end console. If you haven’t had a chance to check out Ryu Hayabusa’s grand adventures, this is the collection for you.

All in all, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is a delightful bundle of two great games. The plot succeeds in entertaining the player, while the gameplay challenges them resulting in an overall satisfying experience. Thanks to this being a prequel in the franchise, it’s a great point to jump into the series. Even for series veterans, there’s a lot to love here, and even a few familiar references.

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is a fantastic 2.5D fighting game that, despite some of its flaws, provides players an almost perfect and complete package that most Granblue fans will likely be proud of.

All in all, Midnight Fight Express is a nice adrenaline-fuelled ride that offers players simple but challenging gameplay, great backgrounds, and more. Overall, Like a Dragon: Ishin is an excellent remake of an older unappreciated RPG with an impeccable historical story to tell. While the remake isn't in the best condition it could've been, especially on PS5, it is still a game that will provide players, especially Yakuza fans, lots to enjoy.

3.8 / 5.0 - ANONYMOUS;CODE
Sep 8, 2023

Overall, ANONYMOUS;CODE is by far one of the coolest Science Adventure games I've played. While the story could have been fleshed out more, and the interactivity needs a lot of improvement, it doesn't change the fact that it is one of the few visual novels that display a significant amount of effort. As such, it is one of the few games that's an easy recommendation to sci-fi visual novel fans.
